π For your own sanity, it's very likely that Tanizaki and Naomi aren't actually siblings. I mentioned in an earlier comment that most of the characters are named after famous authors. In the case of the Tanizaki "siblings," they're a duo in the sense that Junichiro takes the author's name (Junichiro Tanizaki), while Naomi is named after one of his novels. In Naomi (the book), the story revolves around an orphaned couple who pretend to be siblings so they can live together during a time when Japan was very conservative about adult relationships. So, it's likely their relationship in the series mirrors that dynamic.
