I think the S;G0 anime's writing is only worse because it misses out on some of the VN and side material context. Regardless, it is still a great watch and quite satisfying.

Thanks for the reaction, it was a blast! Glad you liked it! As for Steins;Gate 0 it's basically a "midquel" - it basically shows what had to happen for Okabe to receive the message from his future self and be able to reach Steins gate worldline. Generally it's a bit worse in animation quality and writing - but it's got REAL AMAZING highs when it comes to some episodes. It's worth to watch imo. So much fun extra content and satisfying payoff. Also beta worldline is insane. It also made me like the original even more
