Ling is probably my favorite character in this show next to king bradley ling has an incredible story
Zakariya Ahmed
By the way this episode wrapped some clever foreshadowing. In episode 11 on that training island they used to set traps for rabbits, so in this episode Ed uses his automail arm as bait to trap Lan Fan. Good writing there folks!

which was also the reason Ed didn’t want to tell Ling. Because he doesn’t want to give him ideas to try and create one by sacrificing human souls
zaphyre
yep, now they’re just looking for an alternative to get their bodies back that doesn’t force them to use innocent humans’ souls. That doesn’t mean, however, that the philosopher stone isn’t as powerful as they claimed it to be
Zakariya Ahmed
Nah the philosopher stone is deconfirmed remember ed and al agreed not to use it because the ingredients are human souls which is immoral to use for recovering their bodies
