Studio Update!
🕑 Added 2019-08-13 21:14:03 +0000 UTCSo basically, these things in the corners are called bass traps. There gonna help absorb a lot of the bass frequencies in the room to prevent the sound from reflecting off the walls, and ultimately improve our audio quality.
I'll go into deeper detail when the studio is done and when i make our updated Patreon introduction video. But all of this is on the subject of room acoustics if any of you are interested in doing some research yourselves!
A lot of what you see in this picture isnt completely finished. The structure on the back wall needs to be taken down and reworked completely, and the wood along with the white painted borders need to be painted to match the fabric of the bass traps.
Thank you to all of our brothers here who continue to support our equipment costs, and we appreciate you guys for being so patient

Noooo, let me warn you right now. This is NOT for soundproofing. I made the same mistake when I started learning all this too lol. This is strictly to change the sound of the room, and kill the echoes. The only real way to soundproof is to have thick walls. Rooms that are sound proof from outside noises are built from the ground up that way.
