Kuvira was the guard who was with the metal clan when Korra went against the Red Lotus. She saved Tonraq (Korra's Dad) when Zaheer blew him off the cliff. She introduced herself as Kuvira then. U guys at the time were wondering why this person was getting so much screen time in season 3.
