If you needed the levels cleared up for you, basically itadori said he can just barley take care of a grade 2 curse. The other guy said, "yeah if it was a curse" because a level 2 curse is not the exact same strength as a level 2 sorcerer. The level 2 sorcerer is closer to a level 1 curse, sorcerers are sent out to fight the same level curse because they are stronger than the curse and are expected to be able to fight it easier. So itadori barely fighting a level 2 curse and trying to fight a level 2 sorcerer are not the same since the sorcerer is definitely stronger than the curse.
