The Legend of Korra is very good!! However, in order to really enjoy it fully, you can not compare it with The Last Airbender. Aang and Korra are incredibly different characters from each other and comparing the two series to each other will diminish your viewing experience. With that being said, I think you will Really enjoy Season 1, enjoy Season 2, REALLY REALLY enjoy season 3, and Really enjoy Season 4.

idk if y'all are tryna add another series but the dragon prince on netflix is a really good one, it's written by the head writer from Avatar and sokkas voice actor voices one of the main characters. Great series if y'all are ever looking for one and netflix just renewed it for all 7 seasons.

I love Korra for very different reasons than TLA. I’m not as attached to the characters but the story went a lot of places I could never imagine ATLA going.

This IS a sequel show, but just don't compare too much. Nickelodeon studios really screwed over the creators a lot so there's some questionable writing in the first two seasons. It's still a fantastic show, but treat it as its own story in the same universe, its Korra, not Avatar 2.
