Alecto the Arrested

Alecto squats in front of a wall in the Underworld streets, heating up next to a lava flow that illuminates her outfit brightly, especially the vibrant green of her mini-jacket and skirt. She is bored out of her skull. None of the humans she’s tried to sell on her services have been takers. Oh sure they’ll take an interest in a pretty demon with teeth like knives offering them a good night with a babysitter. If they notice her living shadow creeping up the walls next to them, their minds can race with possibilities. But then they look further down, finding a diaper showing from the top and bottom of her skirt and a diaper bag with ones with cutesy patterns poking out.
“A-are those…I mean when you said babysitter…would I need to…wear…?” her average mark would say.
“It’s all or nothing, little human~,” She would often respond. Her voice calm and controlling, with a patronizing tone. Shadow providing charades on the wall to accentuate her words. “If ya wanna get anywhere with me ya gotta let ya babysitter dress ya properly. Trust me, you’ll love it more than ya know. Ya always do. Letting everything slip away and putting Alecto in charge of ya for a night that feels like it will never end. Stripped down to the base essentials: baby diapers and the fear of what I’ll do next. Putting yourself at. My. Mercy~” topped with a malicious hiss, baring her shark-like teeth while her shadow mirrors her. “For a modest fee, of course.”
Usually, she would move to seal the deal by sneaking a pacifier into their mouths or having a hand on the hip while slipping a diaper out from her bag while it feels like the bag is looking at them. Right here, right now, her actions would say. Most often the humans duck underneath or slip away and make some excuse about where they need to be. Other times they’re too bewildered or afraid to stop her but their existing pact-demons find them and make her back off. The last thing she wants is an earful from the Bureau’s desk jockeys. Or worse, a fine. She’s even been getting summoned to the human realm less and less. Plenty of her summoners are left begging for mama when their session’s over, that’s a babysitter’s whole JOB, so what’s the problem? She could actually stay broke at this rate, instead of just blowing everything on new toys before the next job. She lets out of a heavy sigh as she puts her head down to think. After a time, her shadow tries to rouse her, getting more vicious the longer she ignores it. She groans as she brings her head up.
“What what WHAT? Unless ya found a human who won’t run at the sight of a diaper bag, then—”Alecto’s jaw drops when she sees who her shadow is pointing at across the street.
Dark skin, a large helmet of frizzy hair, a tank top and combat boots, and what is unmistakably a diaper she is twenty years too old for. Between the bright colors and her trying not to waddle, Alecto can make it out clear as day. Light-pink waistband coming up far above the top of laced-side shorts, with the sides providing a window as well. The bag on her shoulder resembles Alecto’s own, square and with pockets on the outside for bottles, just with a darker color scheme and no face. The human tries not to look nervous when the occasional passerby gives her a second glance or a compliment on the pattern. Soon she stops to window shop and Alecto can almost make out a tear on her backside, letting brighter colors poke through and the shapes of her rear clearly being round enough for padding. Alecto shakes off her shock and readies herself.
“Ok, ok. If we can’t even get this, this human to accept the services of Alecto, we’re looking for work in Heaven.” Her shadow looks at her in horror. “Kidding! Georgianna’s assistant, at worst. Trusting ya to give me an in if she’s still a hard sell.” The shadow nods.
Desirée can’t help but admire the tastefully ornate outfits on display here. But she’s also noticing that the ones out here would not exactly fit a human physique, like not having a thick tail. While wondering whether it’s worth going in to ask whether these can be tailored to her needs, she sees the reflection of a demon with dark-blue hair with a green jacket approach her. The demon is baring a large smile with mean vibes. Desirée gives a small sigh and lets the heckler heckle while she tries to look at anything other than her.
“Jean shorts with holes in em, and sides ya lace up like those boots? Awfully bold choice given what’s they’re not covering up.” The demon pinches two fingers on the waistband and gives it light tugs upward.
“Yes yes, ha ha, I screwed up my summoning and now I’m stuck in diapers.” Desirée gives in a flat voice. “At least down here I can just get teased a bit for wearing all my old clothes instead of whatever the mortal internet would do to me.”
“‘Stuck in?’ Awfully negative way of putting it.” Desirée hears rustling as Alecto walks by her and leans on the store window with a dull thump. She brings a leg up and onto the ledge to put her own diaper on display. Desirée notices that hers are much less infantile than what Iblis keeps herself in. Alecto looks down in turn. “From where old Alecto is looking, it seems like ya might be more open-minded than the babies-in-denial I keep finding.”
Desirée eyes her up and down. Alecto pulls up her skirt a bit, giving Desirée a complete view of her own diaper, Pure white with no frills or patterns. She also pushes forward her diaper bag to be a bit more obvious. A purple bag with the impression of a face on it, with a large toothy grin and two eye-like balls on either side as well as little feet on the bottom that all rattle around as Alecto fidgets with it to slip out a pink diaper with patterned lines. Fairly basic, Desirée notices, certainly nothing special compared to anything Iblis has made for her. Desirée wonders if this demon actually designs her diapers or just buys them and assumes most humans would be too surprised to see such a large diaper offered to be a critic.
“I’ve got plenty of experience, to be sure. Take Alecto home with ya, and you’ll be left in tears by the end of the night. Guarantee.”
Desirée cocks an eyebrow.
“What is this? A themed succubus booty call?”
“Oh a Fury like me could never imagine doing that to a client’s little ones without permission.” Alecto looks to each side. “Speaking of, where is your demon? Ya mentioned a summoning after all, and from the sound of your deal they might interested in hiring a sitter. A sitter, like Alecto,” who goes for the toothy grin again.
“On the contrary, Alecto, she’s already found plenty of her friends willing to sit. For free. Even my landlord, man, like can you believe–”
Alecto visibly loses energy, stuffing the diaper back into her bag and stretching her face in exasperation. Alecto’s shadow sees her dying out there and goes for the laces on Desirée’s right side. Desirée continues venting about how her landlord, an actual vampire, was excited to waive rent now and then in exchange for babysitting her. Alecto sees her shadow is about to make a breakthrough and gets back to grinning. With a pop, Desirée’s shorts come apart and begin to fall to her ankles. A brightly colored diapered adorned by infantile patterns and cartoon squids comes into view, utterly out of place in the Underworld. The crotch of her diaper sags down between her legs now that its support is taken away. It’s clear her diaper has been well-used and bordering on a leak to an eye as trained Alecto’s. Alecto and her shadow check to be sure. Before she can react to her shorts coming off, Desirée feels a hand squish into her crotch, and when she looks down she finds a devious horned shadow laughing at her. At the same time she feels a heavy tug pulling the backside waistband away from her rear; she looks to her left and finds Alecto leaning forward and getting a look at the back of the diaper’s print. Desirée’s shorts have fallen to the ground completely and she is left at their mercy.
“Awwwww, ya demon puts widdle squiddies on ya diapee?” comes in a baby voice. “I’da expected something gloomier for ya, ta be honest. But come on, human. You’re still in diapers, can’t tie ya laces right, AND got no adult supervision down here? Ya could really use a sitter in my professional opinion.” She looks up to see Desirée is more annoyed than mortified, but still a bit of both. Pressing her luck, she lets the waistband go with a snap and goes for heavy pats on the butt. By this point people from inside the store are looking to see the commotion. A customer is tickled to see a human being bullied in such a silly way and pulls out their phone. “First change is free~.”
Desirée sighs long. Under her breath she mumbles while looking forward.
“First day out on the town without Iblis and I get freelancers gunning to fill her shoes. I’m cursed, I have to be. Free is free though,” She swats Alecto and her shadow off. She’s had her diaper exposed down here by Iblis and her other caregivers enough to just not bother covering up till this is settled. “I am not paying you to babysit me. But a free change is a free change. Maybe if you do a good enough job, my ‘mommy’ might call you over. If I mention you.”
“Fuckin’ FINALLY one of ya humans have a brain,” Alecto shoots up and starts digging through her diaper bag to find something befitting of this client. “Though if ya want ya diapee change to happen anywhere except this exact square of pavement, I do have a fee. Of course, doing it here comes with the natural risks of being seen au naturale by who knows how many demons.” She gestures to the demon inside getting this all on camera. “But I can be pretty fast if ya want to pay–”
“Oh you are have to be FUC—Oh hold ON,” Desirée growls while digging her phone from the front of her bag. It’s Iblis. Desirée had it set to speaker from a previous call regarding a painting gig with the city up on the surface. “Heyyyy Ibliiisss, checking up on me?”
“Heyyy, witchling. Been over an hour down there without me chaperoning. How you holding up?” Iblis reclines on the couch in the long apartment Desirée used to keep lightly furnished before Iblis was summoning cribs. Alecto’s ears perk up at the voice. “You good down there?”
“Yeah, I’ve been fine. Just right before you called me, weirdest thing happened. A demon named Alecto showed up, pantsed me, checked my diaper—”
“It is FLOODED! Didn’t leak despite my best efforts though!” Alecto interjects to build her case.
“Trueeee, she did just get done…” She glances at Alecto comparing prints while looking more impressed as she finds more details on the ones Iblis came up with. The shadow keeps trying to grab and rub her diaper and she has to swat her away multiple times while speaking. The shadow settles for playing ‘I’m not touching you’ with her diaper’s seat. “Spanking meee? To sell me on her babysitting service or somethiiiing? I just agreed to a free diaper change. Everyone’s been complimenting this new pattern by the way. Even when my shorts were still in one piece.”
“I KNEW those squids would be a hit!” Iblis sits up. Her face turns thoughtful. “But did you say Alecto? She wouldn’t happen to be a Fury, Alecto the Arrested? Wild blue hair, pretty dark skin, big ‘n sharp teeth? With that living shadow with horns and a tail on it? I worked with a girl like that down in the Summoning department. Took her under my wing after I got her attitude in check, lost track of the kid a while back. Funny enough, the one I knew still wore ‘adult’ diapers and insisted on a babysitter gimmick,” She says with the biggest quotes she can muster on the word adult, remembering her demeanor. “It’s why she left the family business for the Bureau, I think. Her mamas thought it was a pretty silly way to torture sinners and she just wanted an excuse to cram her interests into the job.”
Desirée looks down at the shadow, who is smugly pulling on its horns and tail. She looks back at Alecto with her dark skin, who flaunts her gigantic, wild, dark-blue hair and strikes a bit of pose that shows off her shark teeth and plain white adult diaper, with just a pink waistband for color.
“Oh shit I think it is her?”
“Oh PERFECT! Alright Alecto, you hear me down there? It’s Iblis from Summoning.”
“Loud and clear, Iblis! I’ll have ya know I’ve been suffering a massive dry spell in my summoning contracts lately. Even humans on the street don’t bite! Wonderful work on this design for your little girl, by the way. Blows anything I’ve got out of the water.”
“Thank you, but I did kinda steal those little guys from an old story she pretends to hate. Regardless, I got a girl’s night out planned Desirée probably wouldn’t have fun at anyway. Still so shy about her diapers being seen on the surface. Your rules are no pain besides spanking and shattered pride, nothing saucy unless she asks you first, feed her whatever as long as it’s human-digestible, and bring her back to her apartment by 11 with at least a clean diaper on. Otherwise, you do you. I can pay you whatever you need.” The longer Iblis spoke the more malicious Alecto, and the more horrified Desirée’s, expression turned.
“Yes MA’AM,” Alecto belts. Desirée lets out a yelp as she receives one more spank that stings, and it transitions to being hoisted over her new babysitter’s shoulder.
“Wait. WaitwaitwaitIblis didn’t we agree I get to hang out alone in the underworld today?” Desirée pleads. “You even trusted me with my own diaper bag. You know, I call you when I’m changing so you cast the spell that lets me undo the tapes by myself? The deal? We had?”
“You’ve lasted an hour, even if your diaper didn’t, which is longer than most humans. Half the time you living contractees just end up dying somehow and we have to pick you up from a security office cause you won’t stop crying after you reform. I expected to hear you blubbering about getting eaten or a big accident,” Iblis starts to check her nails. “Still, I think it’s better Alecto keep an eye on you. She can keep you safe.” She flicks her finger and puts a hand on her hip. “Kinda. alrighty keep my baby safe and stay safe, my big witchy baby~.” Desirée hears the call end sound. Her arm drops.
“Oh God no.”
“NO GODS, ONLY ALECTOOOOOO!” Alecto yells as she kicks the door to the store in and makes way for the bathroom. The customers and workers can only see a face of nightmares, with a full diaper sagging next to it. “If the changing station is closed, I’m using the checkout counter~!” Her shadow gets the message, and heads forward to lock the necessary locks.
