Thats a stretch to call that foreshadowing, especially after watching foreshadowing done in shows like attack on titan or naruto

Maybe if you actually paid attention to the show, instead of constantly missing key details you would have known that they have hinted at other members of black bulls for the longest. I see the comment of yall explaining that it's inauthentic when it was completely planned this way. They have stated the vice captain for many teams which brought up suspicion of who that could be for the black bulls long ago for many viewers. He was naturally foreshadowed every time they put focus towards teams having vice captains and black bulls never stating who theirs was. Yuna becoming vice captain naturally gave the element that Asta would have to do the same, which made many think who could that be once again? How do you get mad at the show, when you guys weren't paying attention to the details to catch the foreshadow. Your reactions are overall great but to quickly critique before acknowledging your own lack of memory first creates that issue.

The manga did a better job at foreshadowing characters because it actually shows nacht and the others in like chapter 4 or 5 I think, so yeah the author did a good job

Yami made an umbrella statement that could leave the author room to write in more characters at a later time with not actually having them planned yet. Whether they planned it in advance or not from the viewer perspective it feels inauthentic cause he was never foreshadowed before this like Henry. This is my 100th time typing this so excuse the rushed paraphrasing.

In the anime it’s hard to catch foreshadowing but Nacht was definitely foreshadowed in the manga and it was very clear.

Yami never foreshadowed individual characters. He made an umbrella statement that could leave the writers to write in any kind of character into the black bulls for later when he thinks of it. That makes the inclusion seem unathentic and unplanned from a viewer perspective. Thats the point

I'm not saying it wasn't random, but in the manga, it showed Nacths silhouette during the royal Knights entrance exam, and when Asta was being introduced to the Black Bulls Yami mentioned that there are more of them out there slacking off and some don't want to live in the hideout. I'm not sure if they showed or mentioned this in the anime so I can't blame y'all if you missed it.

There was nothing we talked over for us to come to the conclusion, that characters that ARENT foreshadowed what so ever, feel forcibly written in. Its simple, the author has yami say that statement in the beginning, so they can write other members in when its conveniant to the plot. Thats why i dont like the way it feels cause thats exactly what it allows the author to do and it doesnt feel authentic to me

Why do you guys keep saying that they add “randomly” each “new” black bulls character? When it is pretty obvious that all squads have a vice-captain, plus in episode 6 or 7 yami said to asta that there were some missing members that were on other missions. Henry was shown in the first episodes as well, but never was introduced and Zora was not a member officially until he decided to be one. Sometimes you guys talk to much while reacting and then later getting mad at things that were said or explained.
