straizo was a good guy he went evil because he got scared of ageing you saw that lisa lisa is 50 and how young she looked straizo looked old when he turned into a vampire so you can only imagine how old he was he was just scared to die at the end of the day which is nice to see I feel like it gives the world more credibility
