I'm not sure if King Bosse has been doing that for generations. From what's been shown the sacrifices he was referring to were Bojji's strength and Daida's body. Pretty much the deal Bosse made is the reason for Bojji's appearance despite being the child of two giants. Could be wrong though

Boji's mother was the strongest woman in the world and his dad was damn strong but was trying to be the strongest man in the world. So the strength of two incredibly strong giants is meant to be strong as well. However, the dad stole Boji's strength and add it to his own become the strongest man in the world.
