Johnny, something you might of forgotten, when those guys beat Takemichi up, and taped him up, they probably didn't leave him with his phone. I doubt he had it on him at this point. I've seen a lot of people mentioning that he should've kept the knife too, but honestly... if you don't know how to use it, or how to fight, you might be better off tossing it, otherwise the other guy has the chance to take control and use it against you still.
