The show explained Vanessa' cat powers and limitations at the end of the witch arc. The witch queen spent all of Vanessa' childhood trying to control and mold her power into someone who could control fate. But Vanessa was never able to, so the queen locked her in a bird cage waiting for her to figure it out. It was only after Vanessa' made bonds with the black bulls and needed to protect those bonds that she was able to use this power. This was such a paradoxical moment for the queen because she was finally able to get Vanessa to unlock her true power, but the queen had no bonds with Vanessa' so the cat would not work on her. So red cat will only works to protect people Vanessa has bonds with and only while she has enough magic to keep him around and hes innocuous... yes Vanessa' cat is a very powerful spell. its also completely harmless

I think the studio did this arc justice it was a weekly show like one piece but still i think they did the best they could given their weekly schedule

If Magna is already your favorite character, then you'll love what he's recently done in the manga (I obviously won't say), but whenever it gets animated I know you'll both really love it.
