Who told you there were filler eps in Code Geass? Your friend is dumb af. The anime came out first. The manga came out later. Unless your friend saw the recap. Lives and is calling the stuff cut from those “filler.” The recap movies came out a DECADE after Code Geass ended and turned 50 episodes of tv into three 2Hr movies. A lot of storylines got cut in those films. But that doesn’t make them filler.
