There's an in depth explanation on the Quincy lineage don't worry you'll understand. Also i don't think you guys got the other cool reference in this. If your familiar with the German blitzkrieg which was a war tactic in ww2 where they would send in the airplanes and tanks to blitz an enemy city then send in the foot soldiers after to clean up. That's exactly what happend here with yhwach sending in the sternritters to blitz and the foot soldiers to clean up

also if you go back to when aizen told ichigo everything was apart of his plan aizen was about to tell ichigo he’s human and also something else before his dad cut aizen off it foreshadowed to him being a Quincy way back then.
