Age gaps in relationships is not an interesting topic bro. Its a creepy one because we already know what matters. One person having a developed brain and the other person not having a developed brain. Minors cannot in good conscience consent to anything romantic with someone with a developed brain who's capable of manipulating and abusing that child, intentional or not. Other than that age gaps with adults don't really matter much. You may get some stares from a 25 year old dating a 55 year old sure, but there matured biologically enough to make that decision with each other to have a relationship. Any adult with the slightest bit of sense could tell you this its not no secret and theres not anything to debate about with the topic.

its not manipulative, the author is bringing up interesting things that nobody thinks about, like what matters in a relationship, is it age or is it appearance and what is 10 years of difference in age when they have lived for hundreds of years, is it appearance that matters then?
