The 2 little girls were older and fighting for Geto in the movie. They were fellow sorcerers and he simply couldn't hold back anymore after seeing how the villagers were treating them.

Your discussion at the end is very interesting ! Just a minor correction : it’s not that Jujutsu sorcerers have less cursed energy than other humans (in most cases they actually have more, which enables them to see cursed spirits) but they just know how to control the energy so the way it flows in their bodies make it less prone to leaking.
