I don't usually do references without clothes for humanoid characters because for the most part, humans don't have noteworthy body markings. But for Astrid here I took inspiration from bronze and copper and the patina that appears on the metals so there's a lot more variation than I would typically use.Figured that pretty much any color I picked for her costume would clash with that goofy skin color combo so I thought I might as well lean into it. Hence: ridiculous bohemian pirate fashion. Yep.
