Wild Horse Pass - East - 2024 Upgrade!
🕑 Added 2024-09-17 16:19:52 +0000 UTCHey all, I’ve been picking over some of my older tracks and decided to spend some time on Wild Horse Pass East layout – I really enjoy some of these smaller circuits, they can be fun to hot lap in slower cars! That being said, something faster like the RUSH SR is a blast to drive on this track as well, especially now the track supports 30 AI to race against! It's been almost 4 years since I last touched the track, so the visual upgrade is huge!
As the file size is shrunk so much now, it fits as a direct upload to Patreon which is nice !
Here’s the changelog.
· Approximately halved the install size with several optimisations
· Re-positioned kerbs to be more accurate
· Generated noise in the track surface for better road feel simulation
· Upped AI cars from 12 to 30 for both layouts
· New Replay cams on both layouts
· Completely re-done all asphalt surface textures
· New AI lines
· Added debris and new skid / tyre marks on the track
· Added moving traffic on the highway (note. An installed traffic set up is needed to make use of this feature ( see here for more details. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNukG2NMVhY )
· Extra foliage has been added around the track
· New VAO patch rendered for the venue.
So in summary, it drives better, runs better, looks better and takes up less space on your hard drive!
Enjoy!
Thanks again for your continued support.

Wow 2400 miles, impressive! Hope I can make you put another 2400 in on the next version!

Ohh that makes me very excited! ORP is sort of my home track, extremely lovely to hear that. Think I’ve got 2400 miles on your version now haha

Genuinely, that is next on my list! it was a coin toss between ORP or WHP and this one won! If i dont get to it this month, it will be soon.
