1970 'itala' 12b (Ferrari 312b inspired)
🕑 Added 2024-06-20 20:18:38 +0000 UTCHey all,
To partner with the updated Modena Circuit just released I am happy to bring you a large update to the 1970 Itala 12b from Historic Sim Studios. (This car is inspired by the 1970 Ferrari 312b and a further update will be following shortly that will have other liveries for the car.)
HSS and myself have worked together loads in the past, and are happy to present the car alongside the track it was tested at. Those long-time subscribers may remember the car was initially shared in December of last year during my ‘Advent Calander’ where I had daily posts with new content.
If you are into Historic content, check out the best available in AC over at the Historic Sim Studios Patreon. https://www.patreon.com/historicsimstudios

And here is what has been updated since the car was last seen!
Changelog:
New aerodynamic physics code.
Cleaned up some unused files.
Minor revisions to transmission.
Revised differential.
Added tire wear visuals, so you can actually see the tires wearing.
Added blown tire visual effects, if a tire blows.
Added tire dirt accumulation visual effects.
Added visual tire flex and deformation.
Minor suspension revisions.
Added some extension code to car.ini file.
Added engine malfunction/misfire chance code.
Added engine power loss based on damage sustained code.
Minor revisions to engine physics code.
FFB improvements.
Added CSP advanced physics tire code to enable a physical tire simulation (as opposed to a single contact point).
Adjusted tire temp explosion to 250C (from 350C), as car tires generally begin to fall apart around 200C.
Reworked tire code to include several newer CSP advanced physics modifiers related to the tire slip curve, tire radius change, and increased camber's impact on longitudinal tire grip.
New tire wear performance curve.
New tire temp performance curve.
New throttle curve.
Added some advanced suspension code that fix base AC code issues.
Revised AI code.
Reworked tire code to include several newer CSP advanced physics modifiers related to the tire slip curve, tire radius change, and increased camber's impact on longitudinal tire grip.
New brakes physics code (based on information that late 1960s F1 cars optimal performance was found in 400C-500C range).
New tire temperature physics code.
Added CSP advanced physics transmission damage code.
Defined collision material type for visual spark effects.

Why is the link not working ?

Will there be a real logos and skins addon for this car to turn it into the 312B proper?
