Lots of news and, above all, the next update of OPT2
🕑 Added 2024-04-19 16:09:31 +0000 UTCHello everyone!
I hope you're all doing well!
I feel like it's been a thousand years since I last wrote a newsletter, so I have a LOT to tell you. Today, we're going to talk about the next update, the next game, Steam, Itchio and lots of other stuff!
But, because I know that many of you are waiting for this, let's start with the good news that everyone is waiting for:
The next update is coming next week!
( And as usual, it will be available for one week as an exclusive for Tiers III, you know the drill. )
This update will conclude Amandine's romance, setting the scene for the final update that will conclude this chapter. I won't go into too much detail to avoid spoilers, of course.
--------------------
As usual at the moment, the update is not very long, but generous in action.
For those of you who haven't heard, we're currently in the process of developing our next game, on which we have rather high ambitions.
Let's call it... the "PnC" project.
And to avoid having 4 months without any releases after the end of OPT2, I've decided to make the updates shorter, but this way you'll always have uninterrupted content.
About the Poll:
By 476 votes to 475, you have decided that your reward with Sherazade will be :
"I want you to order your guard to let me fuck her"
I don't think I've ever seen such a close poll on Patreon!
Thank you all for voting! (you were 1892 Patrons to vote, which is absolutely enormous)
I must admit that I was hesitating between the two, but I'm only your humble servant, and I'll do what you decide! ~~
This reward will be added in the final update of Chapter 2.
--------------------
Let's move on to another subject and let's talk real numbers:
Currently 3 people are working full time on OPT2 and are finishing the last scenes of the game.
2 people have moved entirely to PnC
And me, well, I work on everything.
Once OPT2 is finished, there will be 6 of us working on the next game, with the aim of offering you, I hope, one of the best NSFW game possible.
( Overall, all the money received on Steam and Patreon goes directly into hiring new people these days ahah )
As I've already told you, the next game will be available directly on Steam, in early-access. As you'd expect, the big advantage will be that it can be updated automatically, ( so I'll be able to add special events, and make bug patches quickly if needed) and most importantly, without you having to come and download the game from patreon via a mega link every time. ( It's good to get started with this kind of organization, but let's be honest, it's not very professional. )
And of course, from Patreon you'll always have access to codes that will unlock preview content directly on your Steam game. It'll be the same organization as usual, only better.
I know I'm giving a lot of news, but to put it simply, we're heading for something very qualitative.
--------------------
Lastly, game updates of OPT2 on itchio are currently paused because the game is currently over 1GB, and the site is asking me to make a request to increase this limit.
So I'm waiting for their reply, and it's taking a while. I hope they'll reply. I must admit I've always loved the Itchio community and would love to continue posting there.
In any case, I'll see you next week for the update.
( It'll probably be Thursday )
( Edit: I sense that some people are a little confused by all this news, so here's a little image to summarize how things are progressing. I'll also put it in the Patreon description for all to see. )
Thanks again for your support!
Take care!
Bye ~~

i perfer the mega and not steam i know others feel the same way is there anyway we can keep having the mega

Thanks for the update, super hyped! Can't wait to find out what PnC is, I'm sure it'll be a blast as well!
The Logan
That is s not of a solution, but it's also a major hassle, really valve should just allow for making some games hidden/private based on tags or incognito mode xD
Killan Rasvally
So double solution for steam in the future. Set the game to invisible so you have to search for the game specifically so people just can't see it on your steam library and it won't show in your games on steam. Next, when going to play a NSFW game set your steam account to invisible or go offline. So both the games are now hidden and people won't see you play it.

Salty me uni pero no he recibido nada dw sherashade que hago?
The Logan
Great, in heading off to bed, but will check out our tomorrow, thank you! :D
Lyco
I've just found a solution. The game is now up to date on Itchio :)
AesirLoki
Very much appreciated that you think about us too. <3 You're doing a great work and can't wait for the next games to come.
The Logan
I also found this link if it helps https://itch.io/t/2872417/how-to-upload-your-game-or-project-to-itchio-with-butler
The Logan
I did a bit of googling, and it seems that if you use Butler (itch commandline tool) to upload, the limit is 2GB instead of 1GB (not sure if that helps though, as I have no idea how large OPT2 is at this point :)
The Logan
A shame the game is only on steam, I play games with friends and have family sharing, so the fact that I can't stop it from broadcasting that I am playing an nsfw game is an issue for me, so I use itch for porn games and steam for all other games :/
Lyco
And I can't wait to tell you all about it!
Lyco
I've got a few hints to help you get the game anyway, but I'm not sure yet. I don't forget you dear German friends!
Kenosha Bonisha
I'm super curious about what the new games theme will be.
AesirLoki
Seems like i won't get the new game if it is only steam. Don't know why they block NSFW games in Germany...
Alexander Ruthmann
As german resident, I'm also cut off from all adult content on Steam. So why not keeping the Mega-Download for patrons as an alternative?
Jack Meoff
Alright, thanks for the answer, can't wait to see what you're cooking up
Lyco
If the game works, I'll probably do a mobile release. But PnC is particularly complex, and doing an Android port isn't going to be easy. So it's going to take some time, and it won't be done until after the final game is released.
Lyco
For the time being, the only solution would be to post the game on another platform when it's released, like GOG for example. Apparently, it would be easier for you to get it. It could be a solution.
Isaac Bennett
Appreciate all the hard work though I am a little disappointed that chapter 2 is so short but I canβt deny the quality has been very good and I am definitely looking forward to your next game.
Gyromax
I agree with you. I can't access NSFW-Titles on Steam even though i'm two decades past the legal Age. Would be great if there is some other Way like itch.io or whatever.
Jack Meoff
Will the next game be only available on steam? Will you be making .apk files of the next game for those of us who'd rather play on mobile? Can't wait to see what you have in store for us regardless
Wobbelblob
Will it only be released on Steam? Because my country does not allow NSFW-games on steam at all. And I am not sure if I can activate it. And if I could, I really do not want to have a second steam account for it :(
N- May
Ah ok sorry my bad...Hahahah
Lyco
I think I'm expressing myself wrongly, the game currently on Ichio is OPT. The next game, PnC, is only scheduled for release on Steam.
N- May
Could you please put the link for the Itchio game...I didn't know you had something else apart from OPT and I would love to check it if possible π
pepiscan
This is so gamer
Gear Z
Well this is super exciting! I can't wait to see what the new game has in stored for us and I'm sure it will be the best NSFW game around.
