Today, a brand-new newsletter with a LOT of announcements and changes!
Alright, I'll try to keep it simple, so let's get straight to the point!
First of all, we've decided to change our planned organization.
As I already mentioned a little, our initial plan to update the game exclusively on Steam kind of fell apart...
So, we've decided to go back to the original plan, which, honestly, was working really well.
I think I tried something a bit too complex without realizing that the original setup was actually the best.
So, since I'm not too stubborn, I'll just admit that it was a bad idea and go back to the old setup:
➡ Game updates will now be available directly on Patreon (again)! 🤠
(This will also allow our German friends to enjoy the game.)
So, the next update—Part 2—will be available exclusively for Tier 3 Patrons one month in advance and three weeks early for Tier 2, just like we’ve always done, really.
About this update:
Well... We've decided to rework the game's introduction.
As I explained before, the game was initially meant to be more of a romance game, with an adult DLC unlocking NSFW scenes.
That didn’t work out. ~~ :D
SO, we’re back to "P*rn & Cards", and the game is now fully NSFW, as originally planned.
BUT, the storyline I had written was designed for a romance game.
It had drama, emotional intrigue, jealousy, and relationship struggles...
And well, that doesn’t really fit an NSFW game.
So, I have to go back to the original concept and bring back the same tone as OPT1 and OPT2.
(Yep, lots of lessons learned—"sometimes going back is better.")
So, I rewrote the entire game script with MAJOR changes to the characters and overall tone.
It took some time, but it was necessary to make a solid NSFW game.
So, In the next update, you’ll get:
✅ The fully rewritten first part of the game
✅ Part 2 of the game
✅ New scenes & dialogues
✅ New battles
✅ The arrival of the Sheriff
✅ Another brand-new character making their first appearance!
✅ The quest board, which also works as a scene gallery!
Yeah, lots of new content.
I’m doing my best to wrap everything up as soon as possible.
I’ll keep you posted in case of delays, but let’s assume there won’t be any.
Oh, and another big announcement:
➡ Patreon-exclusive quests are making a comeback!
Since we're bringing the game back to Patreon, we're also fully bringing back the old system!
So, the next next update(Part3?) will introduce the first Patreon-exclusive quest in this amazing PnC!
(And it’ll connect the game’s story to the comic, too—you’ll see, we’re working on something cool.)
Speaking of the comic!
We've now increased the publication rate on Patreon to 1 page per week!!
It's a huge workload, but the artist handling the comic is super motivated, so we’re going for this new release rhythm.
Pretty cool, right?

As someone who criticized the steam exclusivity, let me be also someone who thanks you for rethinking the whole thing. Don't think I don't appreciate it. If I'd been able to legaly purchase it on steam, I'd had done so.

You download the new files copy the game/saves directory to the new folder and open from the new exe It should work just fine

Well, I'm sorry that Steam didn't work out for you. I know that it's never fun to have to go back and revise a whole project, especially one you've already put months of work into. If it makes you feel any better, I think the tone you had with OPT was one of its main selling points (well, that and Emee our beloved). Pulling the drama and jealousy out of the story was the smart move, and I'm glad you put in the work needed to make it happen.

In fact, much of what was planned will be implemented. The general plan that's already written remains the same, the characters too, and the ending too ('cause yes, the ending is already written in advance ahah ) But for example, I had to remove the fact that the player was in a relationship, and Daisy's a lot more fun now I think ^^. But in general, all the planned characters will be there, there'll be a bit of romance, but I've removed the drama and jealousy ahah.

Don't worry, we're playing kingdom come delivrance 2 at the weekend ^^ So it should be fine! I think we've found our work rhythm to go fast and not get overbooked.

I think I speak for all the German when I say, Salty, you are a God (or goddess, idk) do you think on also "releasing" the already written romance part? Just to see what we missed out on or will it not be playable at all after the rewritten par is out?
