Newsletter - OPT Update, Steam, and... Goodies?

We are finally getting close to the end of this chapter 1!!!
It's so cool to finally feel the end of this chapter, start thinking about the new characters in chapter 2, the Steam release and the thousands of things that are coming! I can't wait ahah
But in short, in this newsletter we will talk about the next update, the progress of the Steam release of the game, the presentation of the redesign of the characters for the Steam release, and... figurines?
Well, I'll let you discover that!
The Upcoming Update:
The next update will be the second to last one before the end of this chapter 1 !
Since we are getting close to the end, I try not to make too much dialogues or that kind of stuff, I keep it simple and save it for the final part of the game.
I won't spoil more, but I think you'll like it ! ~~
About the release date, it's coming soon.
I'm trying to push to have the update before the end of the month, I think I'll be able to keep the deadline, but if there is any problem, I'll let you know right away, as usual.
So to make it simple: The next update is scheduled for before the end of the month!
It will be available a week before everyone else for Patreons 5+.
The Steam Release:
The game is currently in "Private" mode on steam, I'm currently setting up the page with screenshots of the game etc, I also have to make a trailer and after that, the page will be put in public.
I don't know if you can imagine the level of joy it is to see your games on a steam page, but it's something ahah !
I just need some small details to put the store page online, but I think it will be visible next month.( Yeah I know, it's getting close x) )
As I told you, we are working on a new version of some of the characters for the sale of the game.
( I repeat myself but, don't worry, original characters will still be available on Patreon )
I think I'll introduce them to you just before I put the Steam page online, so it should happen after the next update or at the same time as the conclusion of chapter 1.
I really hope you will like it, personally I love the new Snow White, it is one of my favorite ^^
Goodies and other stuff:
Since I started OPT, I had a LOT of requests for goodies and PARTICULARLY figurines.
I must admit that, with the illustrators who work with me on the game, we making goodies for ourselves for fun for a while now ahah
( I have a CEO++ mug and a 3D printed drone figurine on my desk for about a year now x) )
I was thinking that if some people would be interested in having this kind of items, I could seriously think about making a store for the release of the game.
The best thing would be to make figurines of characters.
I'd be the first one to take one if I could get an Emee or Melissandre or Sphinx figurine x)
Once again, I don't know if it's a good idea, I would love it, but it's up to you to tell me if there are some who would be interested for a mug or a figurine of Emee!
If it's not the case, you're starting to know me, it's not a big deal, I don't want to make money at all costs.
And, of course, if I make goodies, it will be once the game is on the Steam store with the modified versions of the characters (for obvious copyright reasons).
One last thing, if you want, I can share the 3D file of the drone, if you want to print it at home ahah ^^
Anyway, Please feel free to tell me in comments what you think about all this.

To be more specific, I think most threads have requests/ideas for changes to the drone system, replay-able/repeatable corruption scenes, and a wider (lewder!) variety of office customizations. I want to stress, I love this game, and I think you’re creating great content, but these are some basic areas of improvement that will make it sell that much better when it hits Steam, in my and many other patrons opinions.

I completely understand your feeling. I consider all the comments that propose feedbacks and many of them have been applied in game, but it's true that I don't talk about it much in my newsletter, I should do it more. As for the rest, it's mostly due to the fact that since the game is coming soon on Steam, I have to prepare myself for everything that surrounds the sale of the game. It's kind of now or never, otherwise it will be too late. But anyway, you're right, I'll pay more attention to that for the next times.

Your newsletters seem to focus a lot on monetization options and asking us how we would spend more money. There have been a lot of repeated suggestions for quality of life improvements to the game that you never address in your newsletters or in comments. I think some of us would be more willing to commit to other forms of monetization if we thought you were open to feedback and improving the base game.
