Chapter 445: Giving Away a Sacred Gear?
🕑 Added 2025-10-06 05:49:43 +0000 UTC"Since we've decided to go to the Harvest Festival, let's decide who will go and who will stay behind," Black Rabbit said with a smile.
"I'll go."
"Agreed."
"Seconded." As soon as Black Rabbit finished speaking, Izayoi Sakamaki and the other two raised their hands in a serious manner. For them, such a fun event was a must-go.
"Honestly, you guys aren't humble at all," Black Rabbit couldn't help but twitch the corner of her mouth.
"Um, I'll just stay behind at the base," Jin said quietly, raising his hand after looking around.
"Hehe, Little Master is quite considerate," Izayoi Sakamaki said with a chuckle.
"If that's the case, then I'll have to trouble you, Jin," Asuka Kudou said, touching her cheek. Although she felt a bit embarrassed doing so, for a problem child like her, playing was the most important thing.
"Thank you for your hard work," Yo Kasukabe said quietly.
"Hmm, I won't go to this Harvest Festival. I choose to stay behind. Jin, you go. You've been pushing yourself too hard, it wouldn't hurt to have some fun," Blake said casually, surprising everyone.
"Lord Blake..." Black Rabbit looked at Blake with a touched expression. Leticia and Shirayuki-hime's gazes also softened considerably. Even Pest curled her lip and turned her head away with a huff. She quite approved of Blake's decision.
"I can't believe it. Demon Lord kid is actually giving up the opportunity..." Izayoi Sakamaki also said in surprise, as if he had seen something unbelievable.
"Don't lump me in with you, all you ever do is cause destruction," Blake said calmly.
"That's right, Lord Blake is much gentler than you violent people," Asuka Kudou and Yo Kasukabe huffed.
"Hai hai," Izayoi Sakamaki waved his hand dismissively,
looking bored.
"Since Master has chosen to stay, I will stay as well," Leticia said.
"Me too," Shirayuki-hime also said. Pest didn't speak, as she had no right to speak here.
"If that's the case, then let's decide on that," After Blake nodded again, Black Rabbit wiggled her ears and confirmed the matter.
No one present noticed the slightly solemn look in Blake's eyes. He chose to stay because he knew the upcoming plot. The East District was about to become chaotic. If things deviated from the original story, some of the children might die, which was something he couldn't accept.
"Yo Kasukabe, I have something to give you." Just as the meeting was about to end, Blake spoke again, drawing everyone's attention.
"Hmm?" Yo Kasukabe looked puzzled.
"Your Genome Tree is a very powerful Gift. This Sacred Gear is more suitable for you. If you can analyze it thoroughly, you will gain at least four-digit level power.
Combined with this powerful Sacred Gear, your strength will skyrocket to the peak of the four-digit level in a short time, only slightly weaker than Shiroyasha." Under everyone's gaze, a crimson light appeared on Blake's right hand, and then a ferocious crimson gauntlet appeared in the form of a light orb in his hand, emitting an incomparably powerful pressure.
"Hiss!" Seeing this, everyone showed shocked expressions. Black Rabbit and the others were no strangers to this.
This existence that Blake called a Sacred Gear was the very thing Blake had taken out during his decisive battle with Shiroyasha. It was precisely because of this thing that Blake was strong enough to clash head-on with Shiroyasha.
Sacred Gear, the annihilation of gods, was not an exaggeration.
Now, Blake was actually giving away this precious Sacred Gear! It had to be said that even his companions were taken aback.
"...This..." Yo Kasukabe was also startled. Although she yearned for power, she hesitated because it was too precious. At the same time, her heart couldn't help but beat faster. This wasn't a yearning for the Sacred Gear itself, but for Blake's intention.
What girl doesn't harbor feelings? Even a problem child like Yo Kasukabe was no exception.
Usually, she had asked Blake many times about Gift-related matters. She had also asked Blake to teach her martial arts to strengthen herself.
Because in these battles, although she had tried her best, she was too weak and could only deal with the small fry, which was something she couldn't accept. Not to mention, in Gift Games, she was the only one who had ever been defeated.
In No Name, her current strength couldn't even get her into the ranks of combatants.
Therefore, this somewhat silent and strong-willed girl was actually very confused. If it weren't for Blake's regular sparring sessions with her, allowing her to feel her progress, coupled with Blake's gentle and comforting words, she might have remained discouraged.
Now, Blake was actually giving her the precious Sacred Gear for her sake. How could this not move Yo Kasukabe, whose affection level was already very high?
"I can't accept it. If you lose this Sacred Gear, your strength will be affected. Blake, you are the cornerstone of No Name." However, even though she was moved, Yo Kasukabe's mind was still incredibly clear. She took a deep breath and refused without hesitation.
However, her address had silently changed, calling him by his first name, intimate and unparalleled, revealing the changes in the girl's heart.
