Chapter 449: Blake vs. His Highness
🕑 Added 2025-10-10 12:33:16 +0000 UTC"Oh, quite impressive. As expected of the Demon Lord who easily defeated the Black Death god-child Pest." As Blake looked over, the young man who had been repelled smiled somewhat gleefully.
"Who are you?" Hearing this, Blake narrowed his eyes slightly and asked indifferently.
"Although my true name cannot be spoken, others call me His Highness. Please take care of me." The young man swung his slightly numb arm and looked at Blake's golden eyes, a glint flashing within them.
"His Highness?" Blake straightened up, speaking extremely calmly. A hint of sharpness flickered in his crystal blue eyes. "With that title of yours and the strength you displayed, you should be one of the collaborators, or perhaps even the leader, of this joint attack on the East, South, and North Districts."
"Collaborator is correct. But to say I'm the leader is to overestimate me. Although others call me something so grand, I only have a slight bit of authority." His Highness said casually, as if chatting about everyday matters.
"I'm not interested in knowing your position, but taking you down is also necessary," Blake said nonchalantly.
"Take me down?" Hearing this, His Highness raised an eyebrow, and the smile on his face gradually began to fade.
"Yes, that's not bad either. I'm quite interested in your power. At least, there aren't many people who can repel me with pure strength alone." Saying this, His Highness stared intently at Blake and took a step forward.
With this step, a surging aura erupted from His Highness's body, turning into a tangible wave of energy that made his robes flutter loudly.
In the next moment, His Highness suddenly appeared in front of Blake with a bang, using the fierce force that made the ground sink under his foot, transforming his figure into a bolt of lightning carrying that extremely strong aura. With a simple, unadorned punch, he heavily slammed it towards Blake's chest.
This punch seemed plain and unremarkable.
However, under the sharp wind pressure, all the air where the fist wind passed was shaken apart, producing a low sonic boom. Although it was just an ordinary punch, the power contained within was terrifyingly strong, enough to kill even a Dragon King-class being from the Devil
May Cry world with a single blow.
It had to be said that His Highness's physical strength was already close to Izayoi Sakamaki's.
Of course, if Izayoi Sakamaki fought His Highness, Izayoi Sakamaki would still have the upper hand. Because Izayoi Sakamaki hadn't stood still during these days.
With Blake as his sparring partner, both his strength and skills had improved a lot.
Although the consequence of the improvement was being severely beaten, Izayoi Sakamaki enjoyed it.
Even Izayoi Sakamaki could suppress His Highness by a notch, let alone Blake.
This obviously forged His Highness's tragedy.
"Boom!" The clash of fists ended again with His Highness's muffled groan of pain as he was blasted away, crashing into countless buildings. The violent force and rubble that leaked out were enough to seriously injure any six-digit level powerhouse.
Not giving His Highness any chance, Blake suddenly disappeared from his spot and appeared a little above the retreating His Highness, who was still being blasted backward. Without hesitation, he brought down a leg sweep on His Highness's head.
"Bang!" A sound that shook the city rang out in the arena.
His Highness's entire body was like being struck by a meteorite, sinking into the ground and forming an incredibly large crater. A human-shaped depression was clearly visible in the center of the crater!
This strike made the entire city of Embers tremble incessantly!
"Rumble!" A few seconds later, a loud explosion erupted from the crater. His Highness, his body tattered and looking extremely disheveled, with bloodstains on his lips and a head wound, rushed out amidst the flying rubble.
"So strong..." At this moment, His Highness no longer had his previous composure and calmness. Instead, he looked at Blake, whose expression hadn't changed at all, with a solemn and wary gaze.
"Are you alright? Your body is as tough as that guy Izayoi Sakamaki. Very durable. But that makes sense, you two are quite similar."
Seeing that His Highness had only suffered minor injuries, Blake curled his lip. Although he hadn't used his full strength just now, that punch was enough to seriously injure a powerhouse in the lower four-digit level. And this guy in front of him had only suffered minor injuries; he had to admit, his body was tough. A real iron-headed kid.
"Hehe, although I'd like to continue playing with you, the goal has been achieved. See you next time. I'll bring you a grand welcome ceremony." Hearing this, His Highness wasn't angry, just smiled casually.
"Boom!" Mockingly looking at His Highness, Blake once again used his divine speed to disappear from his spot, a punch with tremendous force slamming towards His Highness's head, without the slightest intention of holding back. If this punch landed solidly, even His Highness would at least end up seriously injured.
"Your Highness, I've arrived." However, under His Highness's calm expression, a girl strangely appeared here, placing her hand on His Highness's body, and then the two of them disappeared together.
And Blake's punch suddenly missed, the violent force stirring the air and forming an air cannon that blasted away a series of buildings in front.
