Chapter 411: Parallel Universe
🕑 Added 2025-10-12 05:46:21 +0000 UTC"This is Bogano. A Jedi I knew discovered it before the Great Purge. It's not on any map."
"Meaning no one in the Empire can find it either?"
On a planet that maintained its pristine appearance, a man and a woman disembarked from a spaceship. The man's name was Cal Kestis, and the woman's name was Cere Junda. They had just escaped from the Scrapper Guild on Bracca. To be precise, Cal escaped from the scrapyard and was pursued because his Jedi identity was exposed, leading to a hunt for him. Cere, on the other hand, discovered the existence of this Jedi (actually, he was still an apprentice) and saved him. They had fled together to this undiscovered, pristine planet for refuge.
Cere nodded at Cal's words, but before she could say anything, a muffled thunderclap suddenly boomed in the sky above them. Such thunder seemed nothing special on this natural planet, and Cere felt nothing unusual. Just as she was about to speak again, a scream came down from the sky!
"Ah!"
The sound was exceptionally miserable and very loud, forcing both Cere and Cal to look up at the sky. Soon, what appeared to be a meteor streaked across the sky, accompanied by a piercing whistle and an exceptionally shrill scream, plummeting violently!
"Damn you, Noah!"
Amidst a heavy boom and a chilling curse, the meteor slammed into the ground. Endless smoke and dust drifted with the wind, and the entire earth seemed to tremble continuously from the impact of this meteor.
"What what is this?" Cal had already drawn his lightsaber, though he hadn't ignited it: "Didn't you say
this planet couldn't be found on any map?"
"Yes yes." Cere was also somewhat stunned now; she had no idea what was happening. After a moment's hesitation, Cere said, "Should we go check?"
"Mm." Cal nodded. He was certain that what had fallen was essentially a person, and he was also sure that this person was probably dead. Although he didn't know how high this person had fallen from, one thing was certain: falling from such a height, it was probably impossible for anyone to survive! Even the Jedi Council elders would
absolutely have no hope of survival.
"Ah!" Just as Cal and Cere were about to go over, another scream fell from the sky! This time, they were more experienced. They immediately retreated a sufficient distance, then watched the falling meteor crash, until they heard "Damn you, Noah" again, after which everything seemed to fall silent.
Who was Noah? This question left both Cal and Cere bewildered. Cal was better off because he had spent six years on Bracca, oblivious to the outside world. But Cere was different; she was originally a Jedi Knight, and even after cutting off her connection to the Force, she had been wandering the galaxy.
So, she had many sources of information and knew a great deal. Yet, even Cere had never heard of any powerful individual named Noah. Could it be a new, cruel inquisitor emerging from the Empire?
"Damn it! Loki, get off me, now!" Just as Cere and Cal were still confused, a furious voice suddenly came from the smoking crater. This instantly made Cal and Cere jump as if they had seen ghosts! What was going on?
How was this possible? Falling from such a high altitude, and smashing such a large crater into the planet, why was the person who fell still alive?
"Shut up! If I had fallen on the ground, I might have felt good, but falling on you almost killed me! You damned guy are just a solid piece of iron!"
"That's because your physical fitness is too poor! Stop talking nonsense, do you want to suffocate me? Get off me, now!"
"Don't worry, if there are no surprises, there's probably one more person."
"Damn it! Get down quickly, don't think that adding you will make me hurt more. In reality, you'll be the one who hurts the most" The slightly gruff voice hadn't finished speaking when Cal and Cere heard another scream. Then, they saw another meteor fall from the sky, and once again, it accurately slammed into the deep crater. The ground shook violently again.
The sky gradually darkened. Inside the Mantis, a four-armed Latero, Greez Dritus, anxiously glanced at Cal and Cere, then looked at the three strangers.
Although he was sitting in the cockpit and hadn't disembarked, how could Greez not know what was happening outside? Especially since it caused such a terrifying tremor, even if Greez wanted to remain unaware, it would be difficult, right?
According to Cal and Cere, these three fell directly from space and crashed onto this planet. To be honest, this story was quite funny, but Greez couldn't laugh at all,
because it was true!
"So, who exactly are you three?" Cere asked cautiously, looking at the three who seemed to have recovered.
"Let's just say we had a bit of an accident." Noah shrugged helplessly, while Thor and Loki glared at Noah.
This was indeed an accident. To be precise, Noah himself never expected that behind that damned light curtain was a parallel universe! Now Noah somewhat understood why that place, which looked like a Death Star, had so many traces of civilization left behind. It turned out that parallel universes used to communicate!
This couldn't help but remind Noah of some settings in the Marvel comics. In the ultimate universe, many of them could freely enter and exit parallel universes. Most importantly, Noah seemed to remember that in the ultimate universe, the Illuminati didn't treat parallel universes as living beings! This made Noah understand why such a light curtain was sealed.
Actually, Noah still felt a bit apprehensive thinking about it now. What kind of consequences would inadvertently opening the light curtain to a parallel universe bring? This situation made Noah inwardly regret it, but his system gave Noah the greatest comfort, allowing Noah to temporarily stop thinking so much, and even simply relax and think about how to get through the energy recovery period.
"The sealing of parallel universes requires very powerful forces, and who did this is unknown, especially since your world is not simple, and you just got the key. You only opened one world, you don't need to worry so much, but there are some bad things."
"Is that so? The Space Stone and Time Stone are actually keys to open parallel universes... wait, what are the 'bad things' you mentioned?"
"Although the gate to the parallel universe is still locked, the navigational gate within your own universe has opened. This means that Earth will probably have many aliens in the future."
"Aliens? So should I form a Men in Black organization to eliminate aliens?" Noah was dumbfounded. Even though the Men in Black movies seemed silly, especially with the low combat power of their two main characters, it was undeniable that this thing was indeed a part of the Marvel Universe.
Noah never dreamed that he would personally open such a door! As for the energy recovery period? This wasn't about Noah's two gems' energy, nor his own magic power.
It was that opening the parallel universe gate in this world had an energy cooldown. This time wasn't long, only about three to five days, but facing an unfamiliar universe was indeed quite a torment.
"Due to some accident, we ended up in this godforsaken place." Noah ignored Thor and Loki's angry stares. "Tell me, where exactly is this?"
"Before answering that question, we need to confirm one thing." Cere was not satisfied with Noah's answer: "Tell me, are you members of the Empire?"
"The Empire?" Thor and Loki suddenly laughed: "How interesting, the Empire? Speaking of which, we are both princes of an empire."
When Noah heard these two blurt out such a remark, he knew there would definitely be trouble. Although Noah wasn't a Star Wars fan, he could recognize that the guy named Cal Kestis was holding a lightsaber. Noah remembered that lightsabers were good for dismembering hands, but generally didn't kill people.
However, this didn't stop a large number of people from being obsessed with the "humming" lightsabers, like Tony, who was a Star Wars fan.
Noah could certainly determine where he was in this parallel universe. Although he didn't know the timeline, one thing he could confirm was that the Sith Lord had probably already issued "Order 66."
As expected, when Thor and Loki made those somewhat true but joking remarks, Cal immediately activated his lightsaber, and Cere pulled out a blaster pistol, aiming it at the three of them. This sudden outburst caught Thor and Loki off guard. Had the Empire done something bad in this world?
"I say, what's wrong with you guys?" Thor wasn't afraid of these few people at all. In fact, the huge difference in strength made Thor completely disregard them.
"Alright, Thor, shut up." Noah directly interrupted Thor, then pondered for a moment before suddenly raising his hand. In an instant, the entire cockpit was filled with a terrifying force. Cal, Cere, and Greez all seemed to experience gravitational problems, directly hanging upside down from the ceiling! Their weapons also flew backward, stopping in front of Noah.
Noah frowned. He suddenly felt that his power had become so strong in this world? He clearly hadn't activated "Space-Time" just now, nor used any powerful magic. Just a very ordinary spell had achieved such an effect?
"Such terrifying Force, who exactly are you?" Cere looked at Noah in horror, even her voice trembling.
"You should actually say..." Noah tilted his head, "This Force is truly terrifying."
"..."
