Chapter 413: Master of Ancient Times
🕑 Added 2025-10-13 09:05:37 +0000 UTCNoah, Thor, and Loki deliberated for a night and finalized their future plans. Their goal was to thoroughly understand the powers of this world and then find a way to acquire its technology. As for other things, they temporarily put them aside, because who knew if they would ever come to this world again?
The key reason Noah could inexplicably enter this parallel universe was because he possessed the key. The key was formed by the powers of the Time Stone and the Space Stone. Honestly, there are only six Infinity Stones in the entire world, and it's already quite lucky if a lucky individual gets one. Noah was fortunate; although he arrived at that world's timeline a bit early, it gave him enough time to prepare everything.
Thus, about twenty years later, he happened to have the Time Stone and Space Stone in hand, in addition to having taken the Reality Stone and leaving the Mind Stone on Earth. Luck, time, and a series of preparations allowed Noah to obtain this key.
Furthermore, Noah had already learned spatial magic, and his physique was compatible with the Space Stone. Therefore, when the Space Stone carried Noah through
the universe, it allowed him to find those spatial light screens. It would be truly difficult for anyone else to achieve these things!
Thus, Noah only needed to find a suitable light screen to enter the parallel universe behind it, but this wasn't without limitations. For example, these parallel universes weren't always open like before, and the light screens weren't constantly open. Noah's strength was also insufficient; he couldn't traverse parallel universes with his own power like those powerful beings.
Therefore, Noah's entry into the universe came with some restrictions: reopening the light screen required time, or what is commonly known as a cooldown period.
To be honest, the current world Noah was in didn't give him any special feelings. He wasn't purely Western; he didn't have much of a connection to Star Wars in the West, Star Wars was comparable to the legend of Pangu creating the world in the East. So, Noah wasn't sure if he would still be interested in visiting after the cooldown period. Of course, if there was still a need, he might come over, but if Noah had no further needs, he naturally wouldn't come again.
Waking up early, Noah went outside the spaceship to
take a look. Honestly, this undeveloped planet truly felt good to Noah. The natural aura was very rich, and Noah, who studied elemental magic, felt particularly close to it.
However, what Noah hadn't expected was that, besides him, Cere and Cal were also up, and Cal seemed to be preparing to depart. This made Noah a little interested; he really didn't know what this Jedi Knight was doing here.
"Morning, Cal, Cere," Noah stretched his neck. "What are you two going to do?"
"We have a mission here," Cere looked at Noah with a somewhat complex expression, and Cal was similar. They both looked like they hadn't rested well last night. But thinking about it, it was normal; who could rest well after being subjected to Noah's nonsensical rambling?
Becoming the master of power instead of a slave to power? Simultaneously wielding both light and dark forces? They truly hadn't heard anyone say such things before, especially this guy who claimed to have lived for more than twenty-five thousand years!
"A mission?" Noah tilted his head. "There's a droid over there. Is it your friend?"
"A droid?" Cere seemed to understand. "You mean BD-1?"
"Sorry, I don't recognize that droid model," Noah sighed helplessly. "These things are simply too advanced for me."
"Is that so?" Cere seemed at a loss for words, finally sighing and saying to Cal, "Cal, go bring BD-1 over. It's a very important friend." Cal nodded, then quietly walked in the direction Noah pointed. Soon, he returned with a small droid that looked a bit clumsy but was exceptionally cute. This little guy was very active, constantly making mechanical 'bleeping' sounds.
"Cute little guy," Noah couldn't help but squat down and pat BD-1's head, and the little guy didn't resist.
"Does Your Excellency like droids?" Cal's mouth twitched slightly at Noah's actions. Was this really the same person who had made them completely powerless with a wave of his hand yesterday?
"It's alright, the little guy is cute," Noah smiled indifferently, then stood up and looked at Cal. "You two still haven't told me what time it is right now."
"We apologize. Yesterday, we were intimidated by Your Excellency's story. So..." Cal realized at this point that he really hadn't told them the current situation. So, Cal and Cere began to tell the current story, and Noah finally figured out the timeline he was currently in. It was quite interesting; Noah first realized that he had perfectly missed the Star Wars prequels and the original trilogy.
Because it was currently five years after the end of the prequels, roughly five years after Order 66 was issued.
At this point, Luke Skywalker was still a young boy, and Anakin Skywalker had already become Darth Vader. Even Mace Windu, the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., had long since had his hand cut off and fallen from a high building. It could be said that this was an exceptionally awkward point in time. Who knew where Obi-Wan was now, and Yoda, the pride of the Gungans, was also living in seclusion in the swamps of the planet Dagobah. So, on the surface, it was probably fine for this Cal to say he was the last Jedi, because there was simply no one else to be found.
"I really didn't expect the war to still be going on," Noah had to put on a thoughtful expression. "When we left, we thought the universe would become peaceful."
"There will never be a shortage of ambitious individuals,
Your Excellency," Cere shook her head.
"How about this?" Noah suddenly spoke. "You help us gather current information, especially technology. If not, you can take us to see the so-called Empire. And we can help you with some things. What do you think?"
"Gather information? Especially technological information?" Cere was momentarily taken aback; she hadn't expected His Excellency's tone to shift so quickly.
"If worst comes to worst, take us to the Empire? And help us?" Cal was also stunned by Noah's words. This guy seemed to completely disregard the Empire!
"Helping you gather technological information is fine..."
After a long pause, Cere slowly began to speak. "It's just, why do you want these things? And the Empire is effectively the ruler of the entire galaxy. I think if I take you there, we'll all die."
"At least let's see how different today's rapidly changing world is from our time," Noah played along with the act, then stroked his chin. "The Empire rules the entire galaxy? That's quite impressive, isn't it? Speaking of which, why has your quality deteriorated so much?"
"Quality deteriorated? What do you mean?"
"The power you wield is simply too weak. In our era, you probably wouldn't even qualify as cannon fodder."
"Too weak? While I admit Your Excellency is formidable, isn't it a bit much to say that?"
Not too much? It's just right! Noah completely disregarded Cal and Cere's slightly displeased looks. As an 'ancient powerhouse,' Noah had to act the part. And truly, Noah's era was indeed an ancient era compared to the era of this parallel universe.
Noah had no problem lamenting their weakness, because Noah, an eighth-tier mage, truly felt they were very weak. And according to the movies, when Jedi fought Stormtroopers, it was like slicing and dicing vegetables, so the overall strength of this world indeed seemed to be quite low.
After thinking for a moment, Noah suddenly pointed to the temple-like peaks standing in the clouds in the distance and asked, "Are you trying to go over there?"
"Yes," Cal nodded. "BD-1 gave me a map, but unfortunately, there are many problems along the way, countless abysses and canyons. It probably won't be easy."
"No, it's very simple."
As soon as he spoke, a golden glow appeared in Noah's hand, and the next moment, a black ring of light appeared in front of him! This strange scene immediately made Cal and Cere somewhat horrified. BD-1, meanwhile, was making 'bleeping' sounds while emitting laser light to explore Noah's actions and energy. But the next moment, BD-1 froze.
"Alright."
When the ring of light fully formed, another scene appeared behind it the base of that towering temple!
What was even more exaggerated was that Noah, after doing all this, simply stepped into it, and at the same time, Noah appeared out of thin air at a place very far away from them!
"This... how is this possible?" Cere's body trembled slightly. She never dreamed there could be such terrifying abilities.
"Is it that rare? Come on over," Noah shrugged. "This ability is just a relatively simple one for me. Spatial teleportation isn't too difficult."
"Is... is that so?" Cal was also stammering, feeling like he had seen a ghost. Was this the power of a master from twenty-five thousand years ago?
"Mmm," Noah nodded. Suddenly, Noah's figure paused. Turning around, Noah looked to the left of the temple. It was then that Noah noticed that beyond a bottomless ravine, on a flat plain, there was a species that looked like a four-legged lizard, but its length reached a hundred meters!
This discovery immediately left Noah stunned for a long time, because Noah was amazed to find that this strange species actually contained incredibly terrifying vitality!
