Chapter 414: Wrath of the Storm
🕑 Added 2025-10-13 09:07:38 +0000 UTCIn Noah's original universe, aside from mages (excluding Asgardians) who were the longest-lived beings he had encountered, other animals were probably only sea turtles. As for animals or other life forms outside of Earth, Noah unfortunately hadn't seen any.
Although Noah was very powerful, he rarely left Earth; at most, he had probably visited the artificial dwarf planet once. So Noah had truly never seen any creatures with abnormally long lifespans, and therefore, he was genuinely amazed by the large creature before him. That massive body and terrifying vitality it was truly the first time Noah had seen such a life form. This was truly much more useful than sea turtles!
Honestly, Noah had some ideas, because since he learned the 'Life Siphon' magic, he had never used it once! First, because there weren't enough materials, and second, there wasn't a suitable subject temporarily. Sea turtles were definitely fine for dealing with ordinary people, but the quality of the subject also needed to be considered!
Could the life quality of a sea turtle compare to a person's? Not to mention a mage, who was countless times beyond ordinary people.
"Do you know what that thing is?" Noah asked, pointing at the behemoth with a hint of excitement. "This guy, it's really exciting!"
"Beep-boop-bleep," BD-1 raised its head and chirped twice. Cal listened, then translated, "It says that creature is called a Binog." Cal had dealt with machinery for many years; he had worked in a salvage yard for five years, so he was naturally very familiar with these things that sounded the same to Noah. Although Noah felt it was incredible, he didn't show too much surprise, as he himself had seen people who could talk to snakes.
"Binog?" Noah tilted his head. "Is it dangerous?"
"Your Excellency, you don't have any ideas about it, do you?" Cal's mouth twitched again. Looking back at the hundred-meter-long behemoth, he immediately felt his mind was about to collapse. Was this guy crazy or an idiot? First, he said he was going to the Empire to steal technology, and then he became interested in something that was clearly impossible to deal with. This was a 100% lunatic, wasn't it?!
Cal really wanted to stay far away from this guy now, because he definitely had a way to approach that terrifying creature! Don't look at the huge abyss between them and this creature called a Binog, but this lunatic had mastered the ability to cross space using the 'Force'.
This abyss was nothing to him. If he really did that, it would probably infuriate this terrifying creature! No one could say what would happen then. Just seeing the creature's massive size and the fangs revealed when it yawned, Cal felt that if they really angered it, their end might be truly tragic!
"Yes, I am indeed interested. It's good research material," Noah had no intention of denying it. Since he was acting, he might as well go all the way! And this world wasn't a world Noah planned to stay in for long, so Noah naturally wouldn't care if what he did was excessive.
With a casual wave of his hand, Noah found a fist-sized, constantly glowing brick from within a spatial rift. The purity of this brick could be said to be absolutely higher than anything seen on the market. Being a mage was indeed a money-burning profession. Because the materials mages used for experiments were not cheap goods.
This brick was left over from Noah's dragon-blood magic experiment back then, and now it was just right to use.
With another casual wave, Cal immediately felt his lightsaber fly directly into Noah's hand, completely out of his control. Seeing this, Cal's heart was filled with gloom. He felt he really shouldn't have boarded this Mantis; it would have been better to die on Bracca.
Cere's expression was also exceptionally grim; she felt she was probably doomed too! She could feel that even if she reconnected with the Force, she wouldn't be able to defeat this guy. This feeling of despair left Cere powerless from the bottom of her heart.
Noah didn't care what they were thinking. Casually flipping the switch on Cal's lightsaber, a brilliant blue blade immediately emerged. Noah's magic slowly began to infuse into the blade, and instantly, this lightsaber erupted with an even more dazzling light.
"Sure enough, the Force in this world is actually somewhat similar to magic. To be precise, their essence is both a type of power, just used in different ways."
Looking at the trembling lightsaber in his hand, Noah silently prepared his magic. Although he knew that the Force was indeed a type of power, he wasn't bored by it; on the contrary, he found it even more interesting. Noah simply categorized this thing into the 'other magic' type.
Different applications of magic also held great appeal for Noah.
Having made up his mind, Noah no longer procrastinated.
Now, Noah simply used this lightsaber as a magic wand.
Although this thing had no magical conductivity, Noah
could now perform certain spells just by striking a pose.
Moreover, the restrictions of this world on Noah seemed
terrifyingly low.
With a casual flick, Noah performed a very standard sword-wielding pose. The next moment, the entire space was enveloped by a terrifying and bizarre power. A terrifying force that everyone could feel flew out directly with Noah's sword swing! That sharp, cutting feeling seemed to tear everything into pieces!
Cere was stunned, and Cal was confused. What was going on? Could the Force be used like this? Was this the Dark Side of the Force? It didn't seem like it, but this power definitely had nothing to do with the Light Side either! Could it be true, as this guy said, that they balanced two different powers?
The enormous Binog beast had long sensed this terrifying power, but it couldn't move at all; Noah wouldn't do anything without preparation! So the Binog beast could only watch helplessly as this invisible power approached.
Accompanied by a scream, the Binog beast was directly cut in half by Noah's single sword strike! And this wasn't over yet. The moment the Binog beast died, Noah had already subtly activated magic to perfectly siphon its life force into the brick, but the power Noah had left behind was still raging!
That terrifying power directly formed an even more terrifying storm, raging wildly across the plains on the other side! Countless hills were directly shredded into pieces, countless trees turned into dust, as if the end of the world had come, and even space seemed to be torn apart!
Cere and Cal were completely stunned this time. They felt their worldview was about to collapse. What was this thing? Was this the power of twenty-five thousand years? Was this guy human? Could this guy be a god?
This seemed to be the only explanation. Otherwise, who would fall from such a high sky and not die? Otherwise, why would this guy have such terrifying power? This had completely exceeded normal human comprehension!
Stunned, they looked at the still raging storm and Noah, who stood there with an embarrassed expression. They felt like they were truly going crazy Noah wasn't the crazy one; they were!
"My apologies, I didn't control the force well. I didn't expect to cause such a result," Noah put away the brick, saying with slight embarrassment, "I also didn't expect the destructive power to become so terrifying. Maybe I haven't been back for too long and can no longer adapt to this world."
You're not unable to adapt to this world; you can completely destroy all civilization in this world! Cere and Cal swallowed. They wanted to say something, but all that came out was a mouthful of bitterness, leaving them speechless. And then, the other two who were with this guy also arrived.
However, the way they arrived was by flying? Thor and Loki had indeed caught up, after all, how could they not feel the massive commotion Noah caused? Although they felt it wasn't a big deal compared to what Noah did in New York, the commotion in this world still seemed quite significant.
"What happened, Noah?" Thor looked at the raging storm in the distance. "You didn't take care of our lunch, did you?"
"Lunch?" Noah was stunned. "You guys noticed that creature yesterday?"
"Of course, we were even talking about making it our lunch," Loki nodded, then asked with a strange expression, "Speaking of which, where is it? Did it turn into fragments?"
Lunch? Cal and Cere truly felt they should just faint! Such a terrifying creature one intended for research, the other two for lunch? Are you really human? You're definitely not human!
"It seems so," Noah feigned a sigh. "I was going to use it for research material, but I lost control for a moment, and this is what happened."
"So, our lunch is gone?" Thor sighed. "Noah, you've put us in a difficult position."
"What an idiot," Loki also rolled his eyes. "Why did you make such a big fuss?"
"I already said it was an accident, okay!" Noah didn't bother to explain much to them. Who knew that using a 'Wrath of the Storm' in this world would turn out like this? This Binog beast was at least a sixth-tier monster.
Logically, it wasn't excessive for Noah to use a relatively high-level spell on a sixth-tier monster.
Moreover, what Noah wanted to do was instantly kill it and absorb its life force, so this spell was naturally the most effective. God knew why this spell caused such a huge commotion after killing the monster. One could only say that the strength of this world was indeed quite low.
Shaking his head, Noah didn't plan to say anything more, but then Noah suddenly thought of something.
"Hey? If I leave something behind in this world, won't there be no need for Luke Skywalker later?"
