Chapter 415: Truly Inhuman
🕑 Added 2025-10-14 09:25:04 +0000 UTCNoah's idea was terrifying, but the more he thought about it, the more he felt that the room for maneuver was quite high. The entire Star Wars saga seemed to involve a vast scope and many things, but in reality, the core story presented was actually a family drama. As for the other wars, well, honestly, when Noah watched them, they really seemed like playing house.
Of course, these things weren't the main point. The main point was that Noah also wanted to try: what would happen if he left magic in this world? The people of this world had already fully accepted the concept of the Force. What would happen if he introduced the core ideas of magic?
Although Noah wasn't a qualified researcher, he was a qualified mage. He was also curious about what would happen if the concept of magic was incorporated into the use of the Force, or what effect some methods of using the Force would have if incorporated into magic.
"Research needs diversity; data cannot just record me alone." Noah found a good reason for himself. Although he admitted that there was some mischievousness erupting within him, by then, Noah would probably no longer be in this parallel universe. No matter how mischievous he was, Noah himself wouldn't see it, so Noah felt that the meaning of research and data recording was greater.
After figuring this out, Noah didn't rush to act. Although there were two good experimental subjects right in front of him, they clearly had their own things to do. So, Noah didn't interfere with their plans, but instead began to study the powers of this world himself. As for Thor and Loki, these two guys seemed quite interested in the star systems of other civilizations, but they had no intention of helping. They just kept following Cal around.
Cal could only tacitly agree, as these two guys seemed like crazy types to him. There was no real need for him to object to them, especially since he was no match for them. Besides, he even felt it might be safer with the two of them following him?
"I say, aren't you two a bit too bored?" When their group of six arrived on Dathomir, Noah had pretty much finished his research. Because the results Noah had obtained were quite good, he was quite happy to chat with Thor and them, especially since Thor had been acting a bit ridiculous lately. This guy actually restrained his power and went around with Cal to fight those stormtroopers? The only time he was slightly serious was when dealing with an Imperial Inquisitor called "Ninth Sister" who was actually a fallen Jedi.
This made Noah feel a bit incredible. You, a dignified imperial prince, actually do such boring things? You could clear the area with one axe swing, you could break through a wall with one punch and go directly through, so why take the long way around with Cal? And Loki actually didn't object to such things at all; instead, he watched Thor play with some excitement. Noah really couldn't figure out what these two brothers were doing.
Other Jedi Knights were looking for some "Force-sensitive child detector," so why were you joining in the fun?
Noah and the others actually knew what Cal and his group were doing. Cal and his group knew they couldn't hide it, so they didn't bother trying. Especially after learning about the specific energy levels of the three from BD-1's data, Cal's group treated Noah's group like deities and dared not be negligent at all.
"You wouldn't understand. This is called experiencing life." Thor smiled nonchalantly: "Don't you feel bored after being in a high position for too long? Experiencing the world of ordinary people actually benefits you."
"First, I haven't been in a high position yet." Noah sighed.
"Second, I've risen step by step from an ordinary person.
My experiences are far more than what you experienced when you were exiled years ago, plus your current experiences."
"Have you experienced ordinary people's combat?"
"Uh... no."
"Trust me, give it a try, and you'll find it incredibly interesting."
"..." Noah opened his mouth but finally didn't say anything. Ordinary people's combat was interesting?
Noah glanced at Cal and the other two sitting in the cockpit, then sighed helplessly. Fine, you actually consider these Jedi Knights ordinary people. Noah didn't know what to say. Real ordinary people's combat should involve punches, kicks, and bricks, or perhaps guns if they're a bit higher class. Is what you're doing considered ordinary people's combat? Noah didn't bother discussing this with Thor, but it did leave Noah with a thought.
After coming to this world, he seemed to have always been at a level above ordinary people. In terms of combat and such, Noah's consistent motto was "If one spell can't solve a problem, then cast another!" Therefore, Noah felt he really had nothing to say about Thor. And Loki's goal didn't seem so simple either. While accompanying Cal, this guy was also recording Cal's use of abilities. Noah even secretly wondered if this guy, like himself, was studying the use of power in this world.
"Alright, everyone, we're about to land." Just as Noah was lost in thought, the ship's announcement sounded, bringing Noah back to attention to observe the outside.
Dathomir was a very famous planet, as several famous individuals had emerged from it. And the species on this planet were also very peculiar; other planets' life forms called them "Nightsisters." These Nightsisters were somewhat like mages, but they didn't wield magic; instead, they wielded innate dark side of the Force.
However, unfortunately, although they were also members of the dark side, they were not aligned with Darth Sidious. Noah himself didn't know the specifics of how much trouble they caused; probably the only thing he knew was that General Grievous, killed by Obi-Wan years ago, had cleansed Dathomir. And that great purge also left the entire Dathomir desolate and lifeless. As far as the eye could see, there were almost only monsters and the special substance shrouding corpses suspended in mid-air. Most importantly, Noah also sensed a very peculiar power flowing here.
"This feeling is truly eerie." Noah stroked his chin and followed Cal and the others off the ship. This was Noah's first time getting off the ship in so many days. Actually, Noah hadn't originally planned to disembark, but this power truly felt strange to Noah. It was as if that calm yet truly flowing power could reanimate the dead!
"It's rare to see you come down." Loki walked beside Noah, looking at him strangely: "Do you also feel an ominous presence?"
"Indeed, eerie and ominous." Noah nodded. "But it's quite alluring, isn't it?"
"What are you two talking about?" Cal looked curiously towards Noah, and little BD-1 did the same.
"Nothing. As for you, it's truly incredible how much you've grown in just a few days." Noah didn't answer Cal but looked at him strangely. This guy, in Noah's eyes, was probably at his own level in his second year at Hogwarts, but now, inexplicably, he was almost at the level he reached after a year at Kamar-Taj. This couldn't help but make Noah wonder, wasn't the protagonist of this world the Skywalker family? Who was this kid?
Noah was very sure he hadn't seen this kid when he watched the movies. Although various spin-offs of Star Wars also featured some characters with protagonist fates, it seemed this kid wasn't in any spin-off movies.
This left Noah a bit confused.
"He's very diligent." Before Cal could speak, Thor interjected: "Although he went through some things that made him forget most of his abilities, in the past few days, he has gradually recalled these things, and his improvement in actual combat is also remarkable.
Although he is still very weak, he's not too bad."
"..." Cal scratched his head. He couldn't tell if Thor was praising him or disparaging him. But considering Thor's combat power, he figured it must be praise, because the gap between him and Thor was simply too ridiculous.
The group silently walked further in. Dathomir, this week, perhaps because all the Nightsisters who originally lived here were killed, had become a paradise for beasts and monsters. Noah and his group encountered countless spiders with heads comparable to Huskies, and creatures over two meters tall that looked like werewolves.
"This godforsaken place is really annoying." Loki said unhappily, looking at the piles of spider corpses.
"Especially with someone constantly following us, it makes me even more annoyed!"
"There are plenty of annoying things, buddy." Noah spread his hands: "The one following us should be the owner of this place. As a visitor, you should learn to pretend you haven't noticed." Indeed, when Noah and his group encountered those monsters and beasts, they had already sensed someone approaching them. However, because the visitor used some special means to remain unseen, Noah and his group didn't make a fuss, intending to see what the visitor was planning.
"What? Someone nearby?" Cal looked around incredulously for a long time, but he saw nothing.
"Don't you know?" Thor also looked at Cal strangely.
"Such obvious power fluctuations, can't you feel them?"
Cal: "..."
Loki: "He's really weak. He doesn't even notice something so obvious; he probably wouldn't even know how he died, would he?"
Cal: "..."
What kind of people are you? You're truly inhuman!
