It Was Just Supposed To Be A Walk Part 2
🕑 Added 2025-05-15 02:47:33 +0000 UTC"I'm sorry!"
Despite his words, Ichigo couldn't help the wide grin on his face, which only caused Yasaka to glare at him harder.
"You are such a horndog! I can't go anywhere with you! Look how you've ruined my make up and hair!" She turned away with a pout. And she looked so damn cute that Ichigo couldn't help but want to tease her even more. But he held himself back knowing she would get legitimately angry if he did so.
He had to muster all his will to keep himself from shaking in laughter as she reached out and grabbed one of Yasaka’s hands in his. He gently kissed her knuckles.
“I’ll make it up to you!”
“Hmph!”
“Yasaka please, I am sorry. What am I supposed to do, huh? You’re already so incredibly gorgeous that I can barely control myself around you. But then you’re going to dress up and do your makeup - and you never wear makeup – how am I supposed to resist my wife when she’s looking so beautiful?”
She cracked an eye open, peering at him from the side. It took every ounce of his training to keep his lips from twitching when he saw the tips of his wife’s tails begin to sway back and forth. Yasaka had always been weak to compliments about her beauty.
Empress or not, a kitsune’s inherent vanity wasn’t something that just went away, even with hundreds of years of discipline. Discipline he had done his best to erode. He had spent many long nights engraving his touch on his wife’s body and teaching her the pleasures of the flesh. Amaterasu may have bound them together for her political gains, but Ichigo made sure that his holy wife had been tempted to indulge in sin as much as possible when she was with him.
“Come on, princess,” he compelled softly. “What man in the world could resist you? And I’m a Demon; I’m predisposed towards temptation. How could I not throw myself at you?”
Her tails began to slow and there was a slight narrowing of her eyes.
Whoops. That was not the right thing to say.
Beginning to grow desperate, Ichigo immediately threw out the first thing that came to mind. “I’ll cook dinner for you! No servants! I’ll make the food myself!”
Yasaka froze completely, and for a dreadful moment, Ichigo thought he had condemned himself to the couch for tonight. But then, slowly, Yasaka turned towards him, her chin tilted imperiously.
“…you’ll make unagi?”
Ichigo instantly latched onto the rope he was given. “Any way you want! I’ll grill it myself! I’ll make the rice myself! Hell, I’ll even make the sauce from scratch!”
Yasaka took her hand back and crossed her arms, but Ichigo recognized her anger fading away as her posture softened and she took a step closer to him. “I suppose I can forgive your boorish behavior just this once. So long as you promise not to do it again!”
Yeah, he wasn’t going to make that promise. Wild spontaneous sex with his wife was just far too gratifying for him to spend the rest of eternity without it. Instead, he took a gamble. Ichigo took a single step and slowly wrapped Yasaka in his embrace.
She kept her arms crossed, but at this point, Ichigo knew it was more of a show than any actual stance of anger towards him. Because within seconds she leaned her head against him.
“You’re such an idiot,” she mumbled angrily.
Rubbing one hand up and down her back soothingly, Ichigo nodded in agreement. Anything to keep her happy at this point. “Yes, I am. I’m sorry.”
She sniffed. “And you have the gall to call me spoiled.”
Ichigo instinctively went to respond but promptly shut his mouth tight thinking better of it. He knew when to choose and pick his battles with his lovely wife. “Come on, let’s make you the best unagi you’ve ever had.”
He put both his hands on her shoulders and smoothly began to walk her away.
As their steps carried them back to the palace, Yasaka asked with an innocent look. “Will you make suimono as well?”
“Anything and everything you want, princess,” he answered promptly. Which scored him a satisfied look in her eyes as she matched his pace and deftly took hold of one of his hands.
Honestly? If he played his cards right and actually managed to pull off successfully satisfying her royal palate, he might just get lucky and score again tonight. Ichigo felt downright thrilled over the possibility. Not just round two, but three, four, five and so on. Thank Lucifer for supernatural stamina.
“…you’re having dirty thoughts again, aren’t you?”
Crap.
He really needed to work on his poker face.
