Yeah i know but i prefer to stick to software encoders for better quality.

Btw, you can enable hardware accelerated encoding(in video settings tab) to reduce CPU usage when encoding video

No problem. I think handbrake arleady defaults to below normal priority if it means anything.

Real good update, my upscales are going by really fast, i basically see no reason to use waifu2x now. If i can suggest a feature though: would it be possible to have a toggle that defaults the FFMPEG process (and similair CPU bound profiles) to "Below normal" priority ? I Tend to do other stuff while i upscale, and when the assembling kicks in it tends to slow everything down to a crawl until i lower it myself. Thanks!
"up to 50%"... I'm getting much better than a 50% speed boost from this update. Same encoding settings went from 6 hours down to 1.5 hours.
