[News] Quick Presets for Custom Resolution & other UI Update
🕑 Added 2025-06-08 13:01:24 +0000 UTCIn the next update, presets will be added for Custom Resolution to make resolution adjustment easier.
You can select a target width or height, and waifu2x will keep the media's aspect ratio unchanged.
The "Minimum" presets works by upscaling the "shorter side" of the media to the designated resolution, which is more suitable when dealing with a large number of files with different aspect ratios.
Plus a view output folder button:
I'm also working on New Video & Photo upscaling models, more details will be available later.

Thank you for your work on this. These are very useful GUI improvements. This made me think about the GUI. I'm still having some confusing with the Engine settings labels. I just realized after 1 year that RealESRGAN-NCNN-Vulkan uses the settings under Real-ESRGAN (unless I'm mistaken). Maybe that's just me, but it might be a thing in the interface that could be improved upon. Or a addition to the documentation could help as well. Thanks! Edit: I'm btw just reading through the "Introduction to ESRGAN Models" documentation. Top notch, this is easy to understand. Many thanks on writing that.
