Radian Star: Overture
From this month on Project Oasis is now Radiant Star: Overture. And currently all builds will be available for free for anyone to play, for the why: read here. I’ve been updating the game’s Itch page, where it will be available for download going forward.
My goal is to be able to develop the game to a state where I can sell it for a one time payment instead of charging a monthly subscription for updates, then finish it and repeat with another game project.

Polishing the Player Character Model
I have been working on the base human body anatomy for the game as well as polishing the face of the player character. She was voted by patrons to have the following characteristics: engineer, middle eastern, long blond hair. So I’ve been working on her face to better represent a middle eastern look. I have to admit I've been busy and didn’t give her a name yet, nor have I picked a specific nationality for her yet.
Meanwhile in Unreal
I’ve been trying to tie up the dialog system and I am currently implementing branching dialog options.
I also have been reworking all the vocalizations in the game for the next update.
Been Drawing and Streaming
Following some points made early on in development, one of my goals for this year is to improve my drawing and concepting skills to both assist in development and bring more eyes to my work and game development efforts. So I decided to stop procrastinating, and just start streaming myself drawing whatever bullshit came to me regardless of the quality I could achieve. I am a big fan of Raven from the Teen Titans and I am deep into Helldivers 2 right now. One thing leads to another and then…
