🕑 Added 2025-07-29 20:07:58 +0000 UTCThis is a song about me taking my life back! I was going to hold on to this song for a while and make a music video. But I figured I would share it with you first!
Making this was like taking that breath I didn't know I needed...
Song Title: Look At Me Now. Artist: Akihiko Kai. Rapper: Allen C
Song Lyrics
[Verse 1] You said I was broken, said I was fake Whispers like poison, watchin’ me break You built your throne on my name in the dirt But kings don’t fall when they’ve tasted the hurt
[Pre-Chorus] You tried to burn me, but I’m the flame Now every headline's shouting my name Your lies were loud, but my truth's louder I rose above, now I got the power
[Chorus] Now look at me now (Look at me now) You tried to drag me down, I wear the crown You said I'm done, but I'm shining somehow Yeah, look at me—look at me now You played your games, I flipped the script Still standing tall, I never quit You said I'd fall, but I run this town Now look at me—look at me now
[Verse 2 – Rap] Fake friends, fake love, fake stories you spin Tried to cancel me out, but I just win Screenshots lie, but my soul don’t bend Karma’s a stage—guess who’s back again? Wrote me off like I was nothin’ Now my silence is thunder, and you feel it comin' I was broken, but I turned gold Now it’s my story that’s being told
[Pre-Chorus] You tried to burn me, but I’m the flame Now every headline's shouting my name Your lies were loud, but my truth's louder I rose above, now I got the power
[Chorus] Now look at me now (Look at me now) You tried to drag me down, I wear the crown You said I'm done, but I'm shining somehow Yeah, look at me—look at me now You played your games, I flipped the script Still standing tall, I never quit You said I'd fall, but I run this town Now look at me—look at me now
[Bridge] No more shadows in my lane No more tears inside this rain Tried to erase me, but I remain Now I dance in the fire you made
[Final Chorus] Now look at me now (Woah) Built from the ashes, I own the sound They tried to end me, I'm sky-bound Look at me—look at me now Voices rise, truth don’t quit I’m the storm you can’t predict You lost control, I took the crown So look at me—look at me now
