Somewhere in the Arctic.
A spaceship lands softly in the snow, from inside that spaceship come out nine humanoids wearing futuristic armor.
“The mission is simple, to identify Kryptonian technology and if possible to recover it. Litha, you are responsible for recognizing the area, the rest just follow me and wait for my orders. ” I command.
"Yes, My Lord." All Kryptonians respond.
Litha who was wearing Kryptonian armor starts to walk in front, my group and I follow her.
Faora and Non are beside me and the five Kryptonians I brought are walking in front of me, they are walking in a formation that allows me to protect myself from any damage.
As I walk through the snow, I use my X-ray vision to look for anything around.
As expected, I found nothing. I look at the ice structure a little further and try to see inside it, soon I see a Kryptonian ship. I can also see several traps that were set by Jor-El.
These traps are capable of killing normal Kryptonians who have only robust armor, but I don't think they are capable of killing Kryptonians who know how to use their powers.
Walking over to the ice structure, I see Litha raising her hands with the stop sign.
"My Lord, that terrain is uneven, be careful." She said as she pointed to a location.
She noticed, huh? This is interesting, she is not using the armor scanners, she also does not have access to her powers yet, and even with these limitations, she noticed the uneven terrain.
"Why aren't you using the armor scanners?" I question her.
"My Lord, technology can sometimes fail at a decisive moment, because of that, I prefer to trust my senses and instincts." She answered me.
I smile a little. I agree with her on this point, I don't like to depend on technology too much, but I also understand that technology is important, after all, there is no way I can terraform a planet without Krypton's advanced technology. I just avoid relying too much on technology.
I have this thought, because I know very well that there are races that can manipulate technology at will. Unfortunately, I have yet to find countermeasures to prevent these races from invading our technology.
If I only had one member of these races as a prisoner, I could study it and improve my defenses against possible attacks. Unfortunately, these beings do not appear much, they live hidden from the civilizations of the universe.
"That's a good thought." I praise her.
"Thank you, My Lord."
Litha crouches a little and then she jumps towards the ice structure.
Me and Faora just fly towards Litha while the rest just jumped like her.
Landing beside Litha, we started walking again.
Arriving at the entrance of the ice cave Litha, who was walking in front of us, suddenly stops and crouches, then a laser passes over her head and hits the ice.
“She has good senses.” I praise her as Faora nods with a small smile on her face.
What she did is impressive for someone who has no powers and does not depend on Kryptonian technology. She can feel the trigger of a leisure laser that was meant to be silent and deadly.
The only ones who can do this with relative ease are me, Faora, Zod and Non.
Litha soon started walking again while dodging any traps that were thrown at us.
She had good reflexes and good instincts, she has potential, where was this jewel hidden? It seems that I have to check my entire crew again, maybe I will find talented people among them.
"My Lord, why aren't the traps attacking our group?" Faora asked in a low voice.
I smile a little and show her the key to the El house. "I have this in my possession."
With this item, all the traps will not activate.
Faora looks at the key and then looks at Litha. "You are testing her capabilities."
I just smile a little at Faora's answer.
Arriving in front of the Kryptonian ship's entrance, I praise her: "You did a good job, Litha."
"Thank you, My Lord." She spoke with a small smile on her face.
I am looking forward to her development.
"Litha and you five, I want you to guard the entrance to this space. You are not allowed to enter."
"Yes, My Lord."
"Faora and Non, follow me."
Now that I've satiated my curiosity, shall we go back to work? I look at the entrance to the Kryptonian ship.

I walk to the entrance of the ship and insert the key to house El, then the door opens and a domestic robot is activated.

Soon a hologram appears in front of me. "Jor-El ... You have terrible taste."
"Little Emperor, what are you doing on this ship?" The artificial intelligence based on Jor-El asked.
I ignore him and keep walking.
"Little emperor, you are not the heir to house El, you cannot enter this ship."
I frown. “My name is Rao, don't call me that, you are no longer my teacher. As the king of my race, not the no Kryptonian law that prevents me from doing something, I am the law. ”
"... Rao, it looks like something happened to the original."
"You bet." I speak in contempt.
Arriving in the main room, something immediately comes into view. "It can not be..."
I look at the device that has countless small cocoons, that device is the cradle of life ... A device that if started with the Codex is capable of creating several Kryptonian babies. This is a much more advanced technology than I currently have, after all, this is a unique technology, this technology is only accessible to the leaders of Krypton.
