[DC] Chapter 25: World War.

Back in my chair, I say, "Report!"
"My Lord, the terraforming process on Mars is going smoothly."
That's fine, I gave orders for everyone to be on the alert for possible hostile elements, but everything is going smoothly.
I gave several orders in those three months, but the main orders are to continue to watch this solar system for possible enemies or for Kara Zor-El's small personal ship.
About Earth, I told my subordinates to always be observing unknown areas that our scanners were unable to invade.
"Any news on Kara Zor-El?" I asked my subordinates.
"We didn't find anything, My Lord."
Sigh, where are you, silly child? Kal-El arrived at Earth safely. If Kara left Krypton at the same time as Kal-El, she should have arrived at Earth at the same time as well.

"Yes, My Lord."
I open a hologram of the recording and start editing the images at high speed. I am trying to enlarge the image as much as possible. With Krypton technology, I can leave any image in the best quality possible.
Finishing my work, I put the result on the main screen.
"A woman?" Zod said.
We were looking at a tall woman on top of a cliff. She looked like a warrior, she has long black hair and blue eyes, a toned body and a slightly innocent appearance.
"Does that island have a hidden civilization or race?" Faora deduced.
"She appears to be human, but we cannot judge this woman by appearance, after all, we also look similar to humans." I say.
A hidden civilization ... On a paradise island, that woman has the appearance of a warrior.
Looking at the clothes she is wearing, I notice something: 'Does she look like an Amazon? I read a book about it. It was about an island called Themyscira that was where the Amazons lived. '
Wait, this was from a mythology book. This is basically a story of Greek religion, if this island is Themyscira, then are the gods real?
I shake my head denying my thoughts. Perhaps these 'gods' are just beings with great powers that humans did not understand, after all, I can survive in the vacuum of space. Looking at the perspective of these beings that do not have much power, I am also a god.
Paradise island, a woman who looks like an Amazon, and a possible existence of gods ...
But maybe ... if the gods are real on this planet, could Krypton be the same? Is Rao really the king god of Krypton?
Honestly, what is a god? Is it a being with great powers? Because if that's all, all Kryptonians are gods.
What is the definition of a god? All the books I read about it just say that a being with great powers, the same applies to Krypton.
I understand that Raoism was a religion that worshiped the god-king Rao, but was he not just a living being with great powers, just like me?

Soon I see several war machines killing human beings. I see bodies scattered across the war field, I see humans crying. I see concentration camps where humans were exploited, women were raped, and men suffered forced labor until they died.
Men, children, women were used for war experiments.
These images are the same as what I learned about Krypton, the only difference is that this war is more barbaric. This war has no honor or purpose, this is just a huge slaughterhouse.
I remember several similar stories about Krypton, this was the Daximite war.
The Kryptonians at the time only wiped out an entire race, because of something useless like purity of blood.
As the Kryptonians were already an emotionless race at the time, they did not give in to their desires as humans are doing now. They just coldly exterminated the Daximites.
"This is ... All of this is just useless." I say in disgust.
"They are just killing themselves and giving in to their primitive desires, lust, pride, despair, these images are transmitting all of that." Is this what happens when someone gets lost in their desire and feelings?
"What is the reason for this war?"
"My Lord, there is no concrete reason."
I understand what my subordinate said. Basically, several small problems were accumulating until it spread to the whole world, this is an unreasonable war that was started by everyone.
I can say that there were several small conflicts that grew until they dragged in the world.
Racism, religious prejudice, cultural differences, hunger for power, desire to be recognized, pride, etc. I can list several possible reasons that triggered this world war, but in the end, all of this is useless ...
In the end, millions of beings will die.
Ironically, this same war is going to help humans evolve technologically.
"My Lord, what do we do?" The subordinate asked nonchalantly.
I look at all the Kryptonians who were looking at these images indifferently and say:
"Ignore everything. This war is not ours, we have no duty to help these beings. This is a useless war, this war is just a slaughterhouse and a waste of resources." This is a human war, I will not intervene in that war.
Hmm ... I can use this to steal more books and knowledge from humans, I can clearly see that they don't mind burning their own culture and knowledge for this war.

Humans have the potential to grow, but they will only evolve properly if someone guides them.
Unfortunately, that person is not me. I have no plan to govern a complicated race like humans, they are beings that let themselves be carried away by emotions. They betray easily, and they are quick to make decisions that harm themselves and their entire race. I agree that there are incredible individuals among humans.
But the vast majority of them are silly ...
Krypton was somewhat like humans. We were governed by our emotions and we committed several atrocities. We only started to grow when we let go of our feelings, but that led to other problems as well.
So far, I don't see the advantage of having a race like humans over my government. They are weak, they don't even serve to be warriors. They have some interesting individuals with great intelligence, but that is no reason to rule all the race.
It is more beneficial for me to recruit talented humans ...
... I stop thinking about this subject. I have few interactions with humans to make such a hasty decision, I shouldn't judge them just by this war, after all, compared to Krypton that eliminated several civilizations, this is something small.
I must not judge them with the small amount of interactions and information I have from them, I will be watching them for a few more years.
I look at the Amazon woman on the screen. “Keep watching for places that our scanners cannot break into. I want to know immediately if any humanoids leave these places. ”
"Yes, My Lord."

Just waiting for the MC to bring Faora, her disciple, and that other girl kryptonian that HATES all men to meet with the Amazons since with him knowing a little bit about them he knows they hate men so best thing to do is to bring women and some with the similar ideals to them.... wouldnt doubt it if some actually leave the island to go with them... ESPECIALLY the amazons that left Themyscira in some of the comics or if they didn’t leave the island then maybe they would decide to leave then

As we know, Rao is very arrogant, because of his talents, and his existence, he has a very big ego. But he also has intelligence and wisdom, so his arrogance is not without foundation.
