[DC] Chapter 32: Teachings.

"Tell me ..." I say in a neutral tone to Faora as I float in my room with my eyes closed. "What did you learn about the last mission?"
I feel Faora looking at me, I feel her closing her eyes and thinking of what to say. The senses of a Kryptonian are something surprising, the strength, the endurance, the speed. Everything about my race is something superhuman. When I close my eyes and focus, I can feel and hear everything on my ship.
This is something I learned while meditating in sunshine. I got into a habit, I'm always meditating when I have no duties to do. When I meditate in sunshine, I slowly feel 'something' growing inside of me. I don't know what that 'something' is, but I feel stronger.
And even with all this strength and resistance, a harmless lasso managed to influence me.I'm curious, I want to know what is this 'energy' that Zero was unable to identify.
Since I don't have information about this type of energy, I decided to ask a man who is more familiar with it ... Wrong, I didn't ask a man, I asked a god.
Ares, The God Of War, is a god with a strong determination. He refuses to say anything, even suffering daily tortures, he remains silent. He is truly The God Of War.
I can't get any useful information about that unknown 'energy' that was on Diana's side, all this torture was useless.
Well, not everything was useless. What happens is, the very existence of Ares is something interesting. Even if he loses an arm, legs, organs, head, everything is recovered the next day.
Ares may die, but this is only temporary. Once, I took his heart out and what happened? He revived the next day.
He is truly an interesting existence. If what makes him immortal is responsible for him being a god, I wonder what a god is.
Are gods immortal beings? Are gods beings of great powers?
So the guardians of the universe are also gods? After all, they are an immortal race that founded the Green Lantern Corps.
In a way, they are also gods.
This curiosity is something that has been taking my attention out of the past few days. What is more frustrating is that I have someone who can give me an answer, but that person refuses to speak.
No matter the torture, no matter the threats, Ares remained unshakable.
He is truly admirable. Whether he is immortal or not, he can endure tortures such as making his blood warm until his organs slowly melt, drinking acid, removing nails, removing limbs, etc.

Well, at least my bond with Faora has grown, I also learned how to torture someone correctly.

I open my eyes and smile a little. “You can do it, don't underestimate yourself. If you can explain the plan I made in minute detail, then you can repeat the same plan I made. ”
Faora opens her eyes a little and nods, then she goes back to reading the data she was studying.
"I must correct you about something."
"Hmm?"
"I didn't know about Diana's mother's personality."
"Huh?"
I smile a little. "I have a firm belief in learning and its influences." I continue to explain when I realize that she didn’t understand: “For example: If a child is raised by two kind parents, if that child has no contact with any other child, if that child has no other influence on his life, I am 100% sure that this child would be a kind soul. ”

I laughed a little, I approached her and stroked her head. “Think about what I said. The lesson I wanted to teach today is: if you have enough information about an enemy, if you know your enemy as if it were the back of your hand, and if you fight 100 times with that enemy, you can win all 100 battles. ” Of course, that is not all, but for now it is enough.
Faora looks at me, and says in an uncertain tone: “But that's not all, is it? Should I always look from a broader perspective? Perhaps, should I make more flexible plans in the future? Should I always have an alternative plan available? After all, when you dealt with the Amazons, you had several alternative plans. ”
Faora started to think out loud, this is a habit she acquired when she is unable to understand something.
"Heh." I give a small satisfied smile. "Maybe yes. Maybe not. Who knows? Think for yourself, eventually you will come to the answer. ” After all, every Kryptonian that is bathed in yellow sunlight has the capacity to be a genius.

I have already asked my editor to review these chapters, you must have received several notifications about the edited chapters. And yes, the MC is slowly preparing Faora to be an empress. hehehehe
Great chapter and only problem I noticed was that one of the paragraphs it says that area loses her legs or something along those lines..... since he is a guy. Was only a tiny typo but in general a great chapter! Like how we are seeing how the mc is “grooming” faora to be his right hand/empress
