Who is going to enter the July Script Contest?
🕑 Added 2017-07-12 00:44:35 +0000 UTC So in case you didn't see the original post about the July Script Contest - please check it out hereSo far, I've had one person make an enquiry about the contest, and that's it.... so I'm wondering, is this contest of interest to any other potential script writers out there? If not, then maybe I'll open it up to the public (outside writers, not just my Patrons). I was hoping we would have at least 4-5 entries among just my patrons, so if you are interested in submitting a script (deadline is the 20th of July) then please either comment below or let me know via private message, so I know if we should continue as planned or scrap the idea for this month.

Hey, don't count yourself short. I find that people tend to be really appreciative when a recording comes out that isn't the "usual fare". While I do tend to attract certain "demographic" subsets, it doesn't mean that is all they are into!

I'm tempted but since you have a certain... core demographic... I kinda feel like anything I write isn't going to be able to compete with that voting bloc.

I just joined and was working on my first script. It became too verbose. I need to get better writing for this format, and I don't know if my first submission will be worthy contest material. I'll try to hone it down, but am going on vacation next week. I hope to get it done.

That's okay, this is a crazy month for me with moving and everything, so I know the feeling! Maybe next month for you too then! :)

I'm in the same boat as the Swanns above. I really like the idea but unfortunately this month has left not-a-lot in the way of relaxing time to cook up a script like that. I'd like to try and submit one next time you do it though!
