I grew up in a religious household, went to Catholic school, and took religion classes in college, but I am not religious. I...I'll leave it at that hahaha. Just saying that because I think anyone can love this movie. This is one of the best animated movies I've seen. I also recommend that y'all get Matt a children's' illustrated bible if he's interested in learning a bit about the bible. That's not an insult btw lol. I just think it's a good concise way to introduce someone to some bible stories lol. I liked mine as a kid. Anyways, this movie was great. Had GORGEOUS animation with wonderful imagery, colors, cinematography, beautifully painted landscapes, and animated effects. It's also the first animated movie from a major animation company to have a female director (Brenda Chapman, love her illustrations and she also worked on Disney Pixar's Brave. Oh, Brave would be a good one to watch too btw XD). The music in this movie also got me all teary. Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey singing "When You Believe"? Oh so good XDDD. I do have a slight gripe with Dreamworks though. They tend to ride too much on celebrity voice actors lol. But oh well. Would you guys watch Joseph King of Dreams? Or would that be too much?
