I think the whole moment where he yells at the person behind the glass is very intentionally off. I believe that is riddler and batman is trying to intimidate him. It doesn't work and it looks like it shakes him up. He doesn't look very confident. I think matt reeves wants it to be like that is what I'm trying to say

The current rumor is that Barry Koegan (Druig from Eternals) is playing joker in this movie. However on IMDB hes listed as Stanley Merkel, who in the comics is Jim Gordons right hand man when he started out in Gotham (until he's murdered) . so I think there might be a twist in the movie regarding his character since we haven't seen him in the trailers and Barry would make a great Joker IMO
