Wizard Subclasses
🕑 Added 2019-03-19 02:44:43 +0000 UTCRecently, I put together an extensive adventure involving a shit ton of wizards. On top of the dozens of new spells, magic items, and monsters I need to stat up for this adventure, I also could use some ideas for wizard subclasses. Just wizards, no sorcerers, warlocks, etc.
I've kept this locked for only gold and up patrons.
Let me know your ideas below!

An Enchanter focused on mind-reading and controlling, memory manipulation and copying, not on glamour and charm. Could alter short-term memories, and use "Jedi mind tricks" early on. Perhaps a new spell that makes someone unnoticed and innocuous instead of invisible ? Trapping someone in their own mind during combat, temporarily, to immobilize them ? Perhaps another spell who manipulates the mind of your interlocutor to believe you're the person he/she expects, or a person "higher up" in the hierarchy ? Kind of like the Dr Who psychic paper.

Magic-missile specialist... used to be a 3.5 prestige class, actually. Could spontaneously cast "Magic Missile" (at the time it was a revolution), and do many special stuff with Magic Missiles, the way a Warlock can augment and tweak Eldritch Blasts, and the way a Sorcerer can use Metamagics.
