I'd be interested to see what they do without stretching the line of reason. :)

Awakened animals only get an Int boost and not a Cha boost. Most animals have lousy Cha.

I dig the concept but Charisma -2?! Why the heck?
I can see that you’ve had difficulty turning this class into a traditional class. I’ve previously seen an “Awakened Cat” esk race that did this very well while still having some class flexibility. I could send it to you if you want?
