Kaiju/Waterworld - Base of Operations
🕑 Added 2019-06-09 19:58:29 +0000 UTCAs you can see, most of the world has been drowned by the seas and there's hardly any ice caps left. The remaining lands are covered in desert, jungles, and dense swamps.
Let's narrow things in a bit more now since we have our theme.
We need a base of operations for our starting party.
What ideas do you all have for a good base of operations? Bonus points if you find a spot on the map to place it.

How about the fairly large island east of the main continent. It looks to have several terrain types and an inland body of water for different Kaiju to live.
Small island on bottom left of mainland. Could be a secluded base with a hidden port off to the side because the monsters may have a seat of power in the middle of the island by the mountains
