Truth be told, I just typed the very first, most horrible thing that popped in my head 😅 also, it was weirdly accompanied by sounds of foul smelling mortified dwarven miners quivering in fear of the thing ... I might have a problem 😅

An underground dwelling lovecraftian aberration that feeds through its proboscis on the internal organs and on the bones of humanoids venturing underground, be they miners, explorers or adventures, from which all that remains are empty skin husks ... The creature's ability to blend almost seamlessly into the darkness makes it a remarkably dangerous foe.
