August Requests - Alien Races!

Great news: got a lot of cool requests for monsters to put into the Horror Issue of BroadSword Monthly, so thanks for that. Look forward to seeing those in October (and on here in PDF eventually).
Also, this month we'll be gearing up for the November issue of BroadSword which is all about science-fiction. So I'll need some ideas for Alien Races.
Just like last month, everyone gets to put in a request for an alien race. Use just a couple short, concise sentences to describe your alien race. You don't have to be detailed on their stats (I'll handle that), unless you want to, of course.
Anyways, looking forward to seeing what you all come up with! Let me know in the comments below.

sorry I am so late to this, can I request a strange race of alien creatures, they live on a distant planet and appear as massive stone obelisks with a single eye on them, they cannot move but have the ability to reconstruct and control the mind of any who go near them, they have enslaved all other creatures on their home world and genetically engineered everything there to their exacting needs. they are extremely intelligent.
