Wizard of Oz Tone
🕑 Added 2019-09-21 01:13:35 +0000 UTCBefore I start digging into the content for the Wizard of Oz setting, I'm interested to know what sort of tone you all would like to see. I'm up for anything, really, although I'd prefer not to do gothic/dark (it's been done to death), but again, I'm a man of the people and frankly I just love writing.
For the themes, I'm pulling straight from page 38 of the DMG (flavors of fantasy).

IMO this needs to be two books. OG OZ should be the original tone, and Darkness of OZ should be a dark gothic take of it. This allows the property to be properly explored over a course of months to a year.
