Was on a family holiday in Scotland from Canada when I was younger. We visited Falkirk almost exclusively to see the wheel. In a cab on the way there my mom mentioned the wheel to the cab driver and he went off on a giant rant about how dumb it is. "Nothing but a big white elephant that wheel is. Spending money on that and the town is full of junkies. Absolute bloody disgrace." My mom was speechless hahaha. Cab driver is a legend.
