This document offers details on the dark carnival setting and includes details on the NPCs that serve as the carnivals troupe, as well as potential hooks, intrigue, and other encounters that may happen to the characters while they interact with it.

This would be really cool as a companion adventure to Wild Beyond the Witchlight. That book mentions a sister carnival from the Shadowfell, I could see this setting as being used to make that a real place the players can find.
