Along with a faint dull pain in his chest, anger welled up. Cheong-ra inwardly chanted to himself again not to be too fascinated by this person. The other might be able to give him physical satisfaction, but he was not someone to have a proper relationship with.
"By the way, who did you wrong so badly?"
Cheong-ra, who was anxious about Dang Ran-yeong's hand constantly roaming his chest, twisted his body but then stopped. It was because the nightmare he had momentarily forgotten came back to him.
"What did I do wrong?"
"You were apologizing several times in your sleep, saying you did something wrong."
Cheong-ra's eyes darkened gloomily as he recalled in detail the nightmare he had been trying hard to forget. His insomnia and nightmares had been ongoing since childhood, and his master and close associates all knew about it well. However, even that wasn't something Cheong-ra had wanted to share. It was just that living together, he had ended up showing his weakness.
His voice naturally turned cold as Dang Ran-yeong discovered this weak side of him that he didn't want to reveal to anyone.
"I'm not telling you."
"Is that so? Whenever you feel like talking, just say it."
Cheong-ra looked up in surprise at the other's kind words. It was because he recalled a similar tone just before his neck was strangled last time.
As expected, unlike the deliberately gentle voice, the expression that appeared on his face was different. Dang Ran-yeong quickly found Rin-rin hiding in Cheong-ra's clothes and threw it into a corner. Then, an intense pain immediately followed on his nape.
"Aagh!"
Cheong-ra let out a painful scream. It was because Dang Ran-yeong had bitten his nape hard. The teeth sank deep into his skin, to the point where he could feel the sharp canines, incisors, and small molars. Cheong-ra's face turned pale, having never been bitten like this before.
"Are you cra- ugh! Why are you biting peop-"
His words couldn't continue properly. What Dang Ran-yeong was doing was too rough and cruel to be called simply biting. Far from playful nipping, it felt like his flesh was really being torn off. It was incomparable to being pinched earlier.
Shocked and in pain, his mind cleared. The other's actions didn't end with biting his nape. Just as he thought he was pulling away, the opposite side was bitten hard as well. Although he gritted his teeth and fought back, even if he hadn't been paralyzed, his position with his back taken was already very disadvantageous. In the end, he was pinned down tightly and his upper garment was stripped off.
The nape, shoulders, and back were relatively less sensitive, so he could somehow endure it. However, the most unbearable part was when the soft and tender flesh between his armpit and back was bitten. After being bitten several times, Cheong-ra finally couldn't bear it anymore and surrendered.
"Mother! I said mother!"
At that moment, Dang Ran-yeong's eyes held an arrogant satisfaction at finally making the other submit. At the same time, he slightly frowned with another emotion, but Cheong-ra, lying face down, couldn't see it. In fact, he didn't have the leisure to pay attention.
'What if it leaves scars...'
It's fine if his body gets bruised or cut by a sword. Those are proud marks that can remain on a martial artist. However, it was different to have someone's teeth marks left all over his body. It's something ugly that he could never show to others.
'I can't have blemishes...'
Filled with fear, Cheong-ra carefully touched the nape where he was first bitten. His fingers trembled as they traced the part where the flesh was deeply indented, enough to make him faint. Is this wetness blood?
Soon, Dang Ran-yeong grabbed his shoulder and flipped him over, staring intently at Cheong-ra's pale face. Then he immediately grabbed the wrist covering his nape and pulled up the sleeve.
What followed was a set of teeth gleaming white like a beast's. Cheong-ra was terrified and tried to shake off the other.
"I answered! Stop! I said stop!"
Even though he pushed and hit the other, he ended up being bitten again. It seemed like he could hear the sound of flesh being torn from his forearm. When he screamed, a strong hand covered his mouth. The fingers that Cheong-ra had left teeth marks on earlier flashed before his eyes.
"Mmph, mm...!"
A pain worse than when his nape or back was bitten arose, as if his flesh was being torn. As he felt the wetness and sensation of blood flowing, his vision darkened. Isn't it too much to leave scars all over his body just for biting his fingers?
Resigned, Cheong-ra went limp, groaning in pain. Every time Dang Ran-yeong handled him roughly, he had felt pleasure, but this time, far from feeling good, he felt afraid and resentful towards the other.
Only after Cheong-ra became docile did Dang Ran-yeong stop biting with all his might. Then he released Cheong-ra, who had his eyes tightly shut, and lightly slapped his cheek.
"Open your eyes and look properly."
"Huu, hu..."
"Not listening? Want to be bitten again?"
At that, Cheong-ra had no choice but to open his eyes and look at his arm. There were deep teeth marks on his skin. However, unlike what he thought must be torn flesh and flowing blood, there was only one very painful-looking bite mark. What he had thought was wetness was just the other's saliva.
It seemed like he had been bitten harder than before. Half in doubt, Cheong-ra traced the wound on his forearm. It throbbed and stung terribly, but there was no sign of blood. Although the marks seemed like they would last for a while, unlike what he had feared so much, it didn't look like it would leave a scar.
"I didn't know you were such a coward. So the famous Moonlight Flashing Sword was actually a scaredy-cat."
Since not a single drop of blood had flowed, Cheong-ra kept his mouth shut, having nothing to say to being called a coward. His face flushed red with shame.
"This much won't tear off flesh. If you're bitten hard enough to tear flesh, even experienced assassins can't endure it and wet themselves like children. How could a precious young master like you withstand that?"
Dang Ran-yeong spoke as if he had actually torn someone's flesh with his teeth. No, to Cheong-ra, it seemed like this person might actually have such experience. Soon, he took out a flat box smaller than his palm from his bosom. When he opened the lid, it contained an ointment that gave off a deep scent.
"Turn around. I'll apply the medicine."
Completely intimidated by Dang Ran-yeong, Cheong-ra obediently turned his back as instructed. After brushing aside the hair covering his back, he applied the ointment to each place he had bitten.
'What is this...'
This was a kindness Cheong-ra had not expected at all. Even if the other's intention was just responsibility without any kindness, at least that's how Cheong-ra perceived it. Of course, it was like giving medicine after causing the illness, but his heart beat faster at such an action.
After applying the medicine to his back, the only place left was his forearm. Cheong-ra turned his body and hesitantly said to Dang Ran-yeong.
"I can apply it here myself."
"Oh really?"
The consequence of even a small resistance came immediately. Only after being bitten harshly once more on the other side did Cheong-ra, with tears in his eyes, obediently offer both forearms. He had unnecessarily refused and only reconfirmed that this man would never tolerate even the slightest defiance of his will, no matter how trivial.
After applying the ointment to all the places he had bitten, Dang Ran-yeong ordered.
"Show me your chest too."
"Why the chest?"
"We need to apply it so your nipples don't grow."
Cheong-ra's eyes wavered. Offering the bitten areas for medicine was different from exposing his nipples that had been pinched and teased. However, seeing the matching bite marks left on both forearms, he thought Dang Ran-yeong might bite his chest this time as well.
The other had said a few pinches were fine, but he was inwardly worried that his nipples might grow from what happened earlier.
With no energy left to resist, Cheong-ra closed his eyes tightly and opened his collar. He couldn't bring himself to push his chest forward. As soon as the fingers coated with the sticky ointment touched his nipples, he opened his eyes again. Now he saw that his squeezed chest was reddish and his nipples were still standing erect.
It was too shameful a sight for a martial artist's chest.
Cheong-ra watched, half ashamed and half tense, wondering if he would be pinched again. Fortunately, Dang Ran-yeong only gently spread the ointment until the areolas and nipples coated with it were glistening. It was somewhat of a teasing touch, but as he had expected it, he only bit his lip.
Dang Ran-yeong pressed down on his nipple, kneading it with his fingertip, and then applied the medicine in circular motions. Cheong-ra's body jerked.
"Feels good, doesn't it? It's nice when you behave well like this. Instead of rudely biting."
"How could this feel good...!"
As Cheong-ra reflexively tried to deny it, Dang Ran-yeong mocked him and interrupted.
"Well, Young Master Baek Ri is a pervert who likes being on the receiving end."
Saying this, Dang Ran-yeong, who had finished applying the ointment, wiped off the remaining medicine by rubbing it thoroughly on Cheong-ra's chest, which was mottled with handprints. Who's the bigger pervert... Cheong-ra quickly closed his collar, trembling with shame. Just then, the carriage that had been rattling along came to a stop.
"Lord Owner, we have arrived."
From outside, the coachman announced their arrival in a respectful voice.
