Book Recommendations & Being Safe Online (Stream Highlights #1)
🕑 Added 2024-03-23 14:25:27 +0000 UTCHello lovely Patrons!
A few weeks ago I asked my audience what I could do to go above and beyond. You told me you wanted more book recommendations and more shortform content in between main Philosophy Tube episodes.
So I shifted my post-show livestreams to my main channel, and hired a new team of editors to make highlight reels from those streams - this is the first highlight reel! The new editing team are paid for by the superchats and adsense money from the streams themselves. The highlight reels will be subtitled in English.
Mainline Philosophy Tube episodes will still be edited personally by me! I won't let anyone else touch them lol.
I hope you like it!

I just became a member. I did my masters in medical ethics and your talk about transitioning in England has taught me a lot about medical language that I thought was helpful that, well, wasn't. Thank you.

Is it possible to add subtitles to your shorts? I'm deaf and can't access them unfortunately

You've become comfort content for me after say a family ideological discourse lol. Thank you for sharing yourself with the world, you are greatly appreciated<3

I think I already commented this on YouTube, but I love that you are showing the live streams on the main PT channel. I love them and feel like they were a hidden gem that folks were missing out on.

I love the idea of book recommendations, even academic papers or other short form articles. As a librarian I value being able to reference stuff. Though I rarely get enough time to read. So I guess short summaries in video format are great but also the long video essays you do help me put it all in todays context.

Thanks for the book reference. It's always great to get a sense of what inspires your thinking.
